As for mi i use my wave for despatch so noramally

i change my 4t every 2 to 3 week n i dun care whatever brand...semi or fully

basa its cheap ok liao hahah those 8 buck 4t will be the best....so far my engine still ok....

from my experience with my 13 years old car, engine oil can evaporate.

my old engine has gone thru 3 major/top overhaul. imho, my mechanic

didnt fix the gasket properly... so when the engine is hot it will evaporate

out from the top gasket. IF i open my boot, i can smell the engine oil....

 

from my little experience: engine oil level can be low due to 3 situation.

 

1. engine leakage (visible sign of leakage on the floor or/and the engine)

 

2. engine oil evaporate (top gasket is not sealed properly)

 

3. engine oil gets burnt (an internal seal is broken, and your exhaust pipe will

come out with white smoke)

 

 

Hv u opened up the engine before? I guess not cos i presume yr bike is new.

 

My guess is probably, in the 1st place, the amt of engine oil put was not enuff.

dunnoe lar they also dunnoe hwo to repair cuz its like a black box thing donr by computers ya...and i bet there is no 1 in any bike in singapore that can fixed it...so i decided to push da bike back to da motor shop...bye to all wave riders...been there done it regretted it cuz i got da wrong version of it and its costing me a bomb...though i realli think that da older version is more reliable i wont be riding a wave anymore gonna change to 125z:)

for the injection thing, if you buy from the bike shop without agent warrenty then must try ur luck and see if the bike shop can retify the problem for u. If you buy the bike with agent warrenty, the bike shop will bring back the unit to the agent for repair. Thats y sometimes u can see some waves selling very cheaply cause no agent warrenty.

the shop told me da warranty only last for 1mth...where got such thing sia i but 2nd hand bike give me 2 mths this 1 is 1st hand say 1 mth warranty only i also dunnoe lar...now he wan to cheat my $$ sia...wan change to 125z muz top up so much...2morrow going to go down and neg wid them see wan give cheaper not if not i go report to CASE already sia...but da bike for only 1 mth 1 week got problem already........then say game over to me...its not i am da 1 wid problem sia is da bike they provided me is wid problem dahz...so gonna try my luck tomorrow...(btw does any1 noes where is CASE,and do they accept this kinda complians...)

*sigh* so sad to know of ur plot... due to all the comments by the brothers not to get the FI wave still pple decide to get it... ayah wats done is done... anyway, just to know, most local bike shops only give 1 mth warranty on bikes, be it new or old... this is because the warranty is they themselves covering not the agent... so if u want a more comprehensive warranty coverage, get ur bike from agent... but then again, the extra cost u pay for agent bike adds up to abt the same as a repair bill... ur decision...

where got such thing agent dont know how to repair.. tok c*** la your bike shop, they dunno means dunno, call up boon siew and give them ur chassis number and see if there is under agent warrenty first.

well, if u 1 2 keep the bike, then don't travel faster than 90km/h.

personally, i ride up to 80-90km/h.

 

Electronics and computer glitches are not so easy to troubleshoot.

Either u have special equipment or u trial and error...

That's the downside of electronnics..

 

 

E.g. my fren's Proton Wira the computer chip got problem,

car cannot start...

brand new chip cost $600, 2nd hand $300...

just change chip car can start liao...

 

wrt to parallel-importer and agent...

parallel importer quoted me $3k,

boon siew quoted me $4k...

A big thank you to all kind souls out there...i have decied to push da shop back 2morrow and it has cost me a bomb neged. wid da boss and he decided to let me push it back w/o having to top up and amt of $$ is only i lose da downpayment anyway thanks to all kind souls out there who have been trying to help me sovle da problem..by da way call up mah motors and they said that they only repair WAVE I if it is bought from them then i called boon siew...boon siew management ppl took down my number as feedback and they told me that i should reprt to CASE(but i didnt wanna make it a big fuss, so decided to settle it wid my bike shop... )what boon siew motors told me is that this bike they do not bring it as it had failed da SINGAPORE standard test and say actually its not suppose to be available in SG but dunnoe where this dealers get thier lobangs from and go sell this bike here...he told me that many ppl had complain against this bike already...in da end juz tell me ask me go CASE report(but 1 thing he said is thru,dealers shld tell us that this bike if spoil they do not have da parts of it or wat..then we consymers wont buy it liao tio bo?)any A BIG THANK YOU to all those who had help me ya~~~

Wah after reading ur post abt boon siew sayyin tat wave-i is a parallel import..now i wonder wats my fate..i also bought wave-i ..first 2 mths CDI spoil liao..now so far so gd and now i also dun whacked already..i only travel 100km/h tops..

for sg, so far haven't seen any yet.. only saw racing boy brand only

hi all Honda Wave bro, now i plan to buy honda wave also. but for 2nd hand, now got 1 motor shop sell me 110cc... So i want to know that 110cc and 125cc have what kind of different. Ofcouse i know that the engin more powerfull than 110cc but beside that .. what more?

actually the 110cc performs better than the 125cc... but sad thing is the age thats all... coz for a wave averagely u need to overhaul the engine once in 3 yrs... so if u get the 110cc... get ready abt $300(rm$600) for an overhaul in malaysia

coz wave's wear and tear is pretty high... u are constantly whacking the bugger without even knowing it...

 

what's wrong with cheap? u want expensive also can... go anyshop and say u'll pay twice the price for an overhaul lorz...

 

honestly, when it comes to kup kias... i really think should trust the malaysians... coz they are the ones riding the bike b4 it was even a trend... its basically cheap becoz the parts are cheap and labour is not that intensive at all... if u really dun trust then sit there beside the guy while he does ur bike lorz... like tat can see if he really got change the parts for u...

hey guys albert got a FX red colour wave for sale leh...the guy say onli ard 2.5k otr leh....but the mileage freaking high! 23k liao....wonder if can consider or not...how to check if wave got problem? btw if wanna respray wave go where to do ah? how long must i wait for the spray to be done?
