should be bah... havent bothered to do it yet... but should be like the normal airbox that has a sponge filter inside...

Hi Kona,

 

if u want to wring more power out of the bike, you may want to rev higher than 60km/h in gear 3 then u change to gear 4.

 

If it is any consolation, my style of riding is also conservative enuff that most other bikers would be off the line first instead of me and revving away! :)

 

However, i have good mileage. 226km per full tank. :thumb:

i would like to consider myself a conservative rider(or even ultra-conservative!) :)

 

at the most, i normally go up to 60km/h bcos my workplace is 10 mins away from my home. Furthermore, this was done during my run-in period.

 

Now, that the engine is already run-in, i expect it to be slightly better, bcos it is assumed that once the engine has run-in, it is supposed to be effecient.

p/s: i have a fren though whose wave125 clocks about 160-180km per full tank. This is probably bcos he ferries his wife to and from work, and both are quite a size. And i've rode with him before and i can see he literally need to blow the engine, to get them up a slope...
