Honda rims are not THAT heavy, and I don't see my fuel consumption go up by quite a lot. They are slightly more heavier than those racing boys or some other makes. But they are the most durable rims that most ppl would say.

battlax tyres and honda rims reduced my regular speed from 90 to 80. but as long as security and feeling is concerned, the speed can compensate them well, now most likely to use v plat all the way.

i got a referral, that's y may be i got cheap. about 350. but to think all shops around sillypore charges 200 for original Honda Rim ( black or white ), both available. and Bridge Stone Battlax costs about 75 a tyre. it's a nice deal considering the tubeless heads are free and installation is bundled. If u can consider 350 a deal, pm me. I am not very sure can be less or not. but I know the mechanic wants to clear stock and his work is quite reliable.

i duno abt the rims for wave how much. But i brought a brand new original LS125 rim at thailand for 4000Baht.

The size is 17 inch, front 160 and rear 185.

My kaki rides a "S" and i ride "I",

"I" is more fuel efficient.(more than 60km per litre)

"I" throttle is very smooth compared to S.

"I" has no carb so no need to service wash carb.

Top speed is the same for both.

If holiday in Thailand go buy the ECU chip mod, mini turbo system and so called "power-commander".

yah i tried be4 the mini-turbo u mention at thailand, my cousin fren's wave-i. The pick up is much more better, it feels lighter on throttle. But i heard top speed is abbout the same nothing diff unless the gearing u change.

So how much u broguht ur wave-i ?

I bought my wave-i brand new near to 1 year back for about $4k++.. forgot the price liao.

My friend whom is also riding a wave-i went to thailand and found all the goodies there.. msia can't compare to the amount of stuff they have there lol.

Yes must change the gearing.. best is to get the red ECU chip mod.. think its by Posh or something..

hey guys, do u noe wats the tyre pressure for front n back sports rim?

it depends on ur tyre profile, if high tyres like 80/90 front and 90/80 back, 22 psi about 200 and 25 psi about (230) good enough already.

can change at any shop that have the rims. To my knowledge, the rims are available in black and white. Price would be roughly $200 +/- . Price wise, have to hunt around lor..:goodluck:
