outlook on the whole looks pretty much the same

closer view

headlight shape different

110 got 2 bulbs for headlight while 125 got only 1

dashboard + dashboard lights different

wave125 has got digital fuel gauge instead of the needle type

fairing/covering located on both sides of the bike (area below seat) slightly different also

performance wise...one higher C.C than the other lor

datz all i know of.....

Just a little update if peeps want to install horns. Just went to motorXyesterday and was told that they dun have horns now and the installer may not want to do installation anymore. anyway i left my no and the lady willcall me if anything.

 

if like that i most prob will be going to JBLAB to do my horns liao. tentatively i planning to go on next wed.

can go to mustafa but the hella or fiamm horns at about $19. Instructions on fixing the horns are inside.

i dun know how to comment.. oni try before on a mod wave 110... power, fast.

wave125. same wif watever mod u do.. unless u big bore. oni tink 110 not as nice as 125... as for me, if u wan fast, u wont be getting wave already.. so i go for look. n den again, if u wan fast kup kia, get sonic. or 125z. y get wave.

Same thoughts as mine.. If you want speed in the first place, shouldn't get a Wave liao, get a 2-stroker maight be better..

guess the element of speed isnt really so significant in honda waves

for me..i chose the bike cause of storage + fuel economy

 

think a wave110 might be harder to get than a wave125 nowadays...

and ex5 at jb is fast in 4 stroke cat there.

agreed...the EX5 is one of the legendary kup-kias...

 

btw, anyone know can bore Wave125 to bigger engine capacity?? Eg : 150cc

Wave 125 can be big-bored. To wat extent mus ask ur mechanic liao.

if u wanna modify it. tink can reaach up to 135cc. but if u wanna change the whole block n piston bah bah bah... can reach 155cc or even more. go down b-plus c n ask lor..

hi to all wavers....got a few question to ask u all.....thanks for all replys

 

a)how to clean the chain

b)i experience a sound when i change to higher gear at a lower speed, seems like the chain is dropping out, but the the chain is quite tight

c)when i drop gear, it seems like engine brake rather strong...

d)the tube at the engine seems to leak out engine oil...

e) which chain lube is good for wave cos i'm currently using putoline o-ring chain lube..

 

sorry for asking so many question cos i just bought my bike.....thanks a million

just a thought, cos Wave125 is a " underpowered " bike, cos of a very good fuel consumption, so there won't be a " significant " increase when changed to a better plug, or like what Pauche said, it's just better firing or in the case of Iridium plugs, better firing, more cleaner + better fuel economy...

 

if u want performance, changed the CDI, exhaust, etc.....
