i've got a wave too. . . got freak out at wad they said abt the bike gg dead at high

 

speed and after a loud 'boom' sound, engine auto restart. . . i don hav tis kind of

 

probe yet and i hope not. . . anyway its FX 3digit bike so tin probe don come in so

 

fast rite?? anyway wave reali very slow. . highest speed i went is only 110km/h. .

 

slow sia. . . thinkin of changing to S4 when my holis come. . any advice not to?

 

btw my mileage is 13000++ and i haven change my spark plug. . was shock tat

 

pp change it when they ride after lk 3000km. . . guess i shld change it soon . . .

read some thread regarding engine oil...and motul seems like a gd brand...w/ all that ester technology thingy

In 4T engine Oil so far only Fuchs and Motul uses ester base products! Have u tried Fuchs?

but the FI model somehow really looks more chio than carburettor model

saw this all black FI model w/ nicer looking black vs white dashboard...never see it light up at night...but should be bah

 

frm what i heard abt FI models...besides being more fuel efficient....bad point would be not every motordiam got the technology to do servicing for FI bikes

so maybe servicing would cost slightly more?

mebe cos not much ppl buy the efi model.... so far i only saw 1 uncle riding the efi model...

last week got chitchat with one uncle werking at a bike shop... he just sold his modded efi model with FA1X num for 13k ... show me the bike pic, very chio

ya i hate that....sometimes i didn't see then i think they have eat up my remaining oil... then suddenly got one day i purposely see the mech he poured the oil then i think still got about 2/3 of the oil remain. then i asked him why didn't finish it. then he said i didn't change my oil filter inside there still got another about 200 to 300ml of old oil. pls don't be cheated by this kind of things! last time i was happened just changed the oil filter but didn't change the engine oil cos i just changed it few days ago, that was another shop, only few drops of oil came out only! that means inside there actually not much old oil remain there. then end up i request to take the bottle and i go home and poured it by myself. i really hate those mech who act like very expert actually they know nothing still want to cheat us.

according to wave manual, engine oil capacity is 800ml.

but some mechanic just lazy to measure 800ml, hence they just throw in the whole bottle.

wave got NO oil filter.

maybe u ask him show u where it is next time if he insist got.

end up he sure point to u the air filter and say he pronounced air and oil filter wrongly!!!

thnx! I change the oil i oso forgot wat type liao ... but i think its the cheaper one cos it cost RM14 only. the drum pad they quote me is original honda one they claim. I oso feel that there is a tendency for them to chop Spore bikes if u are not regular there.

 

I may want to change Air filter and chain liao, u noe the price of these 2 items? Thnx in advance!

anyway...3 digit no. plates are really nice..too bad mine's not one

thot i read in the other thread that sikolene or something also uses the ester technology as well?

havent tried fuchs before...so far only did 2 oil change to my bike

1. castrol activ-x (w/ syn particles)

2. idemitsu (mineral oil)

 

currently in queue...

1. castrol r4 (fully syn)

2. motul5100 (supposed to be fully syn)

always hi-beam those road hoggers or those cars which tink they can do a quick-right turn at junctions w/o me having to slow down and diao them....

haah...then can accumulate all the remaining 100-200ml of oil and combine into a new bottle after using 4-5 bottles

sounds quite alright to me

except the tyre inner tube....

tink costs ard $6 per tube in spore or smth...

let me know the effect of the rear shock raiser after u go it k? thks!

yeah i change my plug and oil by myself... just that day i was in a hurry... then i don't have the screw driver to take out my oil filter cos maybe im gonna change to singapore bike soon, so i don't really bother to buy one. then when i wanna change my oil filter then only let them change loh. i also add the battery water by myself.
