hi, is there any Wave DIY servicing expert who happen to stay at SengKang area?

my wave's chain always loosen up after few rides...im a total idiot on the bike, only ride since i got it. went to some bike shop get oil change only....

i need some expert to teach me how to tighten the chain, loosen/tighten the rear brake, change engine oil, top up brake oil....etc....

im tired of riding to the motor shop every now and then as work everyday...couldnt find time to drop by shop....

Maybe your axle nuts are not tighten tightly... check it out... should nt be so easy to lengthen. I check mine and its a DID chain stock... shouldnt be so worse for this brand.

That screw is for air.

any idea what should be the default adjustment for the screw u mentioned?

e.g for idling adjust by judging the sound of the engine

but for the air screw...how to judge?

my bike will have this sudden loss in power for 1-2sec when im travelling at ard 100kmph on expressways even thou i maintain throttle

fault doesnt lie w/ spark plug

could adjusting the air screw help? thks for any reply

u can feel the bike sound changing when u tune the bike and u ram yr bike at the same time... turn to the clockwise the sound like the air going in not so much, when u turn anti clockwise u can feel like air going quite alot..dats how i feel lar..

Thai Amulets do not produce instant miracles. Wear it with faiths and a good heart. Eventually you will see the effect.

Im letting go some of my thai amulets which I had collected throughout the years when I go to Thailand. Do PM me if you are looking for something which u cant find in my post, I might have it. Thanks :)

not sure if the previous owner got go do any tuning to the bike though....

does tonging a pipe require re-tuning of the bike??

actually not very sure if the loss in power is due to air or fuel leh...but should be air problem bah....

What is the "best" type of wave to get? I know there is a few versions of waves. I also hear people saying it's the most economical bike. But, how low maintenance is it? How much do you guys spend on maintenance every month? How much will it cost for 1st hand and 2nd hand? Roughly? My cousin is 21 yrs old, just passed her 2b 2 mths ago.

there's a certain ratio of air:fuel to be fed to the engine for combustion

too much air = mixture too lean = may result in frequent engine cut off

too much fuel = mixture too thick = higher fuel consumption

that's what i tink....other opinions??

got 2 types

carburettor and fuel injection model

fuel injection model saves more petrol....not exactly sure how much more though..

but in time to come if the fuel injector components require cleaning etc may result in higher costs compared to cleaning carburettors

as for other non-engine parts....tyres etc...

wave parts do cost cheaper than most type of bikes like sportbikes etc...

for insurance i supposed it would cost yr cousin ard $300-400 for a 3rd party insurance bah

due to young age + vehicle is new

1st hand fuel injection model now cost upper end of $3k...2nd hand injection model price = not sure

1st hand carburettor model = lower end of $3k while 2nd hand carburettor model = ard $2k
