By the way, which motordiam do u guys go for servicing like change engine oil, spark plug etc..i live in the east..

 

For phantoms, they have ah koon, for wavers, is there a specialist mechanic too?

 

Also, do u guys wash the carburetor n do tuning? Who can do it well?

i bought my bike for less than 2 weeks, haven paid a visit to the mech yet as mine is 2nd hand...

 

wanted to noe any motor diam specialized in wave oso...

actually, u can also go to ah koon, he also knows how to fix Wave.

 

He's not an expert in phantoms at first... it's just the recent numbers of increasing phantoms going to his place, so in long term, he has become an expert in phantoms..

yr rear and front tyres both seems to be close to the ground

so izit due to the aftermarket swingarm or due to the front forks leh?

actually most motordiams should know kup kias well lar

before wave...there are models like EX5, kriss etc

so i suppose most mechanics should be quite familar w/ kupz liao bah

for wave, when u down gear n dun realease, it is actually clutching in... so when u release, the clutch oso release...

 

the bad point is that, it is very difficult to control the "clutch" with your leg... i always from 4th gear down to 3rd gear dun release until going to reach a complete stop den i down to 2nd, n den 1st... usually no problem with me..

Usually i go JB service my Wave! more economical. In Ringgit Malaysia leh....

anyone care to tell me where is the wires for the tail light? as in when the rear brake shift lever is stepped,the taillights become brighter.Where are the wires connecting them? thanks

due to the rear supension, front fork & the swingarm. but still stable... but if u put the rear supension bracket den cannot use mainstand liao

Is it true that tubeless tyres can fit onto spokey rims? That's what a mechanic told me....if really can, then i better go fix..cos i still using irc tyres on my wave.

 

btw, how to prevent rust from growing on scratched paintwork?
