Hi everyone! I am considering to get the 2009 GSR400. Loois quoted $18K OTR. Can anyone advise the difference between the 2009 and the regular stock . For what I know the engine power has upgraded from 53 to 61PS is that of any significant improvemnt in engine performance ........I need to weight the "Value for money" against buying the Regular GSR400 that is price at $15K OTR from Loois too.

Thanks for yr comments and advice...!! Cheers!!

Riding the regular 400, most of us are very pleased with the performance. With the added ponies. I think u will jizz all da way... Hahhahahaha.. U certain its the 09 version?

how u know its modified? the video or the pic never say anything abt the bike been modified... and u also cannot prove that the bike is modified...

i dont know what calculation u r using, but theres a possibilities that ur calculations are wrong when u mention it can hit 115km/hr with gear 2 at 11k RPM...

according to the CORRECT calculation base on the stock setting and stock gears, chain and sprockets, a stock GSR400 can hit only 101km/hr on 2nd gear at 11k RPM

http://www.gearingcommander.com/

the website above is where i load in the GSR600 stock settings. u can also find GSR400 in the website. Someone loaded in the GSR400 stock setting there.

bro...i hit 85km/hr on 1st gear n 115km/hr on the 2nd gear before it powercut...revv till the max rpm can go...feels soooo damn smooth with motul 300v :thumb::thumb:

ehem...115 minus 5-10% of ur speedometer error...how much will u get??? btw, gearcommander is calculated base on mechanical. 101km/hr at 11000rpm. so u hit 115km/hr in red zone (14000rpm). on gear 2 at 12600rpm, ur bike can hit 115.7km/hr.

high speed? stability much more better than street bikes..street bikes can also have better stability than stock at high speed if u have an add on damper. fairing bike lain beb.. its aerodynamic..bike geometrics are also different..

try this. with the key in the ignition, lift it upwards then turn it on. it should turn easier. suzuki bikes with age tend to have this problem..

another thing with ignitions is to lube them. put some lube on your key and push in the key and pull it out again. repeat the steps. wipe the excess oil from your key. with time, water gets into the keyhole hence the tough turning.

I do believe with KY will work better. Haiz...everyday IN-OUT-IN-OUT. Causes frictions....Very painful for the hole so need to have aftificial lube hahahha. But true true as what was said.

Unless its electrical issue. Another thing that I can think of is the clutch lever. There is a switch. If the switch is not closed properly when you clutch in, it does not complete the circuit....THUS cannot start.
