just to re-confirm dinie's rpm 4 technique...

Average speed: 90-95 km/h (Plus twice i blasted 140km/h for kicks)

Petrol Type: Shell V-Power (SG)

Road Type: 65% Expressways

Fuel Consumption: 22.93 km per litre

So what that means gentlemen, your fuel indicator, or Ultraman signal as I call it, will start its first blink @ about 275km, which I feel is relatively good mileage, considering usually I get about 235-240 with my normal riding style.

ride safe dudes.

good job dude. now its time to fine-tune your riding style to get the best FC. i'm getting abt 290km - 310km depending on my mood on that current tank of fuel. that's about 24km/l. and you must remember, i don't switch on my headlights in the day. so i save more fuel than you guys who do. btw dude, now try changing at rpm5k. see whether it improves or degrades..

Its not dinie's rpm 4 technique....its juz that he is able to read the japanese manual already hehehhe

If you notice, at 4k RPM at gear 6, it points to 60KM/H. That is actually in the manual which states at 60km/h, you are able to get 35km/litre.

Try to maintain 70km/h, you'll be surprise.

Your FC will go down a bit. To me headlight no effect since its using electricity form the battery which is generated by the alternator that should provide electricity at a constant rate. But no harm trying though.

well its tried and tested by me, so for me it works. the battery only provides power for the headlights before you start the bike. once started, the alternator provides current for all electrical needs and at the same time, charges the battery. the battery is there to provide the massive amount of current, called the starting amps, that the starter motor needs. think of it of your air-conditioning to your car. turn that off and you save petrol. like razi said, no harm trying. as for me, i'm happy.

GSR headlight can switch off during day riding?...Is there a switch? or needed to install the switch?
nope, have to install yourself. i have to remind you that it is illegal. so do it at your own risk. cheers.

honestly iceduck bro,

you ARE one of the few bros who are genuinely interested in making your "PIPE LOUDER" and actually doing something about it, ie buy first, get it installed, and send it for approval. unlike most who just keep asking "got approved pipe?". and for this, I respect you. been meaning to do the same, ie quietly get one installed, inspected and approved BUT awaiting vitamin M to come in. But for all GSR4 bros alike, i pray hard for you, and all of us. :)

cheers!!!

i dowan to be fastest...

i just wan to be FAST-er...

there is no such thing as innocence, ONLY DEGREES OF GUILT...

Dude.... Nobody said u should get the WR's. Its jus a piece of scrap metal OVERPRICED and whats more its almost UNKNOWN to any of us. Go for yoshi, arrow or GPR 2 piece pipe. These are the more trusted brands and the price suits its years of background.

how's the teka mapping? any difference?

Well got difference....i also change rear sprocket +1 teeth, while riding gear 6 rpm 6k my bike shown 100km/h , but my bro bike is at 113km/h ..:cheeky:

Speedo haywire when change sprocket ratio, need speedohealer soon ..

I still prefer XTRE rather then teka mapping ..

yo bros, ive a buddy who's willing to part with his fatbar to me for free, but im quite concerned cos if i do install it, not only is it metallic red and doesn't match my bike, there's no balancer available thats able to fit onto it.

now won't that result in massive vibrations since even our stock super heavy balancers are already grappling with the shocks?

any opinions? cheers.

Maybe one way is to use a TP gun to get the 'accurate' TP firing range hehehe. Then confirm safe coz in stock still got a bit of error.

Just go below 100 loh than everything settle. Dun need to get healer one. Singapore road also hard to hit 100km. Dun flame me ah i got it for accuracy purpose.

Our bike have the 7% error. so by right when u at 6k RPM at 6 gear u are not going at 100km but at 93km. If ur maths is good than no need healer. Just mental calculation

actually kind of true.. u guys know now days there are speed checks around exit bends?? i've seen 2.

1 on sle towards lentor n pie towards tampinies. i've always try to keep the best constant speed

irrigardless of slow or higher speed. my results were always the same. -7 on top of my speed.

and if u think our 7% error is bad, try comparing with those rxz's and kr's or sp's.

once they sent to the land of the mech's on the other side, they think they can go even till 180km/h..
