the shop is it at AV?

Nope... Its Eunos. Very "different from others" motorports. Hahhaha... They provide cheap stuff but for servicing. I'd go elsewhere else. The good short tuff mech no longer there. The new guys only know basics.

Neway Imran, they only bleed the brakes or took a look at the pistons itself?

I guess DIY lor like dat...I hope not internal parts damaged. If damage. juz change since brakes..............dun play play.

So Imran decided on your new parts? Radial or levers?

You are right! of late, some bike work shops diagnose the GSR braking problem as due to brake pump and want to charge GSR owners $180-$200. So Bros dun kanna chop aah...

anyway, i miss wildcard.

the rear brake pump and caliper is very easy to service yourself. i've personnally done mine when i was doing my front radial lever project.

you just have to standy brake fluid, a clean container (an aluminum tray if possible), a friend (to help you bleed, i did on my own and it's damn troublesome) and lots and lots of rags. you can use old brake fluid or GT-85 to clean the piston. BUT when you're done with everything, make sure you top up the pump with new brake fluid, better still from an unopened pakage.

motoworld filled mine with an opened container of brake fluid. a day later i could see through the translucent brake fluid container the fluid has turned to brown. i pumped out all the fluid and replaced with new fluid. much better feeling and looks nicer on the container too.

daylight robbery. i rather use that money to buy bottles of brake fluid, a circlip plier and buy the o-rings for the internals from the agent and service myself. haha

wats the price for 1st hand bike otr ? Dunno you need to ask shops. Please do homework.

and how come some gsr i saw is fully black ? They paint / stick black sticker?

the bike got power cut like s4 ? Got the Red Switch on the right hand throttle (Kill Switch). All I know they do have Rev Limiter. You wont want the bike to cut its power when travelling at 180km/h.

wats the top speed of a stock 400 ? Depends on individual.

thanks :D really appreciate any kind soul here who will tell me all this ;)

Last by not least, can refer to page one and compare the specs of Super4 with GSR.

Anyway got another function/facility in the forum that you may wanna use. Its called 'search'. Try it, you'd be amaze.

hi guys,

i checked out the uk gpr distributor's website and looked at their 08' pricelist. apparently they do have an application for the gsr400 which is the ghost slip on. i've emailed them regarding the legality for the slip on and if all goes well, i'm considering bringing in one of those from them. and hopefully i'll get lta to approve it :p

could anyone please tell me what i should note before getting the slip on? also who else is interested to bring it in?
