Hohohoho.... congratulation in passing your class 2A license. Also congratulation in getting ur new GSR400. I'm sure you'll feel the joy of riding it in days, months and years to come.

Being a new class2A rider, try to be careful in riding your GSR400 becos the torque of this bike is very "powerful". Also take note that if your bike is new, try to do the proper running in. Refer to page 1 on more info on running in.

As for the odometer, there are three display of mileage and 1 time display. Press the bottom button to switch the display.

There will be indicator at the top left corner, indicating "Trip 1", "Trip 2" ... these two are resetable mileage. To reset, press and hold the top button for a few second and the display will be reset to 0.00 again.

There is one permanent odometer which display as "Odo"... this cannot be reset.

The last one is time display. To set the time, go to the time display and press and hold the BOTTOM button. Remember, it's the bottom button to reset the time.

Fuel wise, when you're doing running in, you can use 98 or 95... no point pumping High Octane petrol like V-power becos you cannot do high rev during running in, hence it's pointless to use such petrol.

Thanks freak and zal...

the 7/8" much clearer to distinguish tho... cos most of the online measurements are stated as such...

whats the advantage of a fat bar anyway?

fat bar can easily get accessories. but same goes to 7/8".. its thicker.. futhermore, if u wanna use a fat bar, u must use the adapter... and in the end ur bar will be quite high... im using 7/8" as i dont want to add adapter and having a higher handle bar... and im using a low profile 7/8" handlebar... lower than the stock...

pump v-power bike will have different feeling?

got difference of coz.. 1st big difference will be ur money hehehe.. other than that its smoother and finish faster... got few more factors la.......

just try not to pump 92.

anyway, i'm liking my windshield-less bike, but it'll look funny with the side boxes on though. then again, with the windshield there, it has already saved my meter from major or fatal damages.

i rather break a $140 windshield than have to ship in a new meter and god knows how much that will cost.

I couldn't agree more on that bro. Even thou my bike did do a few summersaults. My so called flimsy PUIG actually saved the whole speedo console. Lotsa scratches on the PUIG screen but the funny thing is that it did not snap off fully but just only on 1 screw point and both brackets are bent sideways. Good thing i invested on that lil flimsy thingy.. HAHHA.... :thumb:

Let me guess, Its in gear 4, 4.5k - 5k rpm.....rite? I guess almost all EFI will experience that. You might wanna adjust your TPS to "kill off" that feeling.

Caution!!!! Adjust too much will actually "kill off" you engine braking. Most have tried this method and seems to work well.
