hey guys, thanks for the infor, i was advise by the mechanic to to run-in at 800km, 1600km & 2400km.

 

as for side box & windscreen.. i am planning to get it.. any gd recommendation?

but a friend of mine has said b4 tt at neutral gear with the engine runnin, he can hear a tapping sound

which i fail to.. dunno ah, maybe i deaf again..

Your helmet mite be too loose.. Wind buffetting... It may cause hearing impairment if u leave it as that. Get a helmet that fits better.

Wah ... like dat... bike lost at bike shop.... should claim from the bike shop or from the insurance??? So confusing... since you let the bike shop handle your bike... it's their responsibility to take care of it... now lost, if you make insurance claim... sure lose $$$ and it's their fault... should claim from the bike shop also....

yup...leaving ur bike at bikeshop, and if lost, bike shop will replace it. even when they ride ur bike to test and got into accident, they will replace or repair FOC.

 

For Ah Chong, sometimes his jokes are very heavy... so heavy till u are unable to carry it ( Joke yg TAK BOLEH ANGZ) and tend to believe in him that it is really lost... hahaha.. thats Ah Chong, know him since 1998.... but if it were true, that will be bad for him... but i doubt so its true... maybe its already ready, but was sent to another place for respray, touch up, inspections or something else which his shop is unable to do...

Kheheheh.. Guess u known him as welll ah Dzal. Hahahaha... When i freaking came down. I was shocked as hell lah siakz. Tot it was real and all. Then he went to the fone and talk with a serious face. "Gua call itu police cakap sama lu" (Translate: I'll call the police to talk with u") .Then he said "Alamak gua lupa ah moto lu ada kat AMK Autopoint". (Translate: Alamak, I forgot your bike is at AMK Autopoint.)

 

Turns out he sub-contract the repairs to speedy motor. He said that he mite loose some stuff at his shop cos its always freaking busy and mite misplace things.

 

Turns out they waiting for the rear rim n clutch case cover. Thats all thats left to do.

I jusst bought my GSR for 7 months and lately i got a problem with the neutral gear. When i kick my gear lever to neutral, the gear indicator shows blank and the neutral light is off. For the other gears, no problem, only the neutral gear got this problem. It usually happens during temperature when the temp is about 85 - 89degress.

Anyone got this problem... Please help.....

anyways, sometimes my gear indicator goes blank at neutral also, but that's cos i've got a TRE installed.. but my neutral light is always there. well, assuming you bought it new, it should still be under warranty. so go back to the shop you bought it from. might be an issue with the GPS(Gear Position Sensor).. but don't worry too much. just enjoy the sweet ride..

Yah, mine is a first hand but i bought from a bike shop from alexandra not from Guan Hoe. They did not mention anything about the warranty when i bought mine. Usually how long is the warranty? Btw, mine is a GSR400.

Sorry for sounding long winded but you mean that the problem will just go away after some time? I have been monitoring the problem for the past week but it dosen't seems to go away. Just checking if there is any setting that I can perform on my own to solve the problem. If not no choice have to waste money to go back bike shop to kana chop by them le.
