Wah seh ... I know nuts about electrical. You tell me 10A or 30A ... I catch no balls ... hahaha.... As I dun come from background on Electronic studies... so it's good to learn some from you guys. Anyway, Flareon and myself are both interested in getting the power outlet done... helps from you guys are appreciated.

 

I am not in a rush now to get it fixed... so does Flareon(last I talked to him about it on msn)... so when I happen to drop by Sim Lim, I will try to hunt for those parts and probably will join you guys for any DIY sessions.

Yah... heard the news on the hotel TV, but apparantly Hatyai is still safe and people there are extremely friendly. This is the first time I ever felt so relaxed and let off all my worries and have a jolly great fun with both the locals and friends.

Just to add, most devices are about 10A, its maybe wise to go with that fuse. Do check the Amp rating of the outlet. I know mine is only 10A. Putting a higher Amp will allow current to flow above the rated cigarette outlet. Its always good to be kiasu to put 1st 30A then a 10A hahahaha a bit overkill la. I did that way coz need to powerup many things.

 

Wah lau dun tell me u wanna run a blender sia with bike battery. 10amp more than enuff liao for charging or handfone and running GPS at the same time. Plus using the relay method as per EJ mentioned is highly recommended than tapping the power from any other parts. Its always best to tap to battery with relay.

 

As for me. What i did previously was to use crocodile clips for the power outlet so its easy on and easy off for me. I din like the idea of leaving it on the bike most of the time. Plus i only use that for my GPS during long trips.

Well i think i really have to read this thread start from PAGE1... haha. Because i really have a lot of doubts. Like for example temperature, fan, coolant... and all those accessories name... Lost sia. Cos i was riding yamaha cub before upgrade to 2A...

most of the stuff same like 2B bike mah.. as long as ur temperature dun go above 110 should be ok.. anyway, you will see the red light blinks on the right of the temperature if it exceed the limit. (normally fan will run around 90)

 

coolant needs to be changed around 2 years or 4 years.. (some bro can confirm.. )

If you read carefully behind most coolant bottles...i think it state every year....anyway I believe in changing every year coz sludge will build up eventually. Once jam...more $$$ is needed.

For what purpose? If you want high performance gain, Air-Fuel Controller like PCIII is the way to go.

Then can see mine hahaha...Testicals have seen its usefulness. Make sure it is waterproof...you dun wan the thing to short all your electrical cables.

 

Testical,yaa rite ,btw i can see it has alot of uses,down from pumping air to the shining OTHER things rite razi.

 

I spend quite a lot for that coz wans it to be a BMW powerlet (Smaller than the cigarette type) and not the cigarette type...reason, dun wan itchy hand to use my power unit when parked.....Kiasu approach.

There is sum1 in the CMO selling HID for about 80. However its low beam HID and hi beam H4 normal. But still i must say its not legal. U gotta be considerate to other drivers as well....

Depends on the load. I use it mainly for charging of laptop during rides. Of course i am not running a TV as per Razi's suggestion. hehehhee..
