aircraft uses a number of strobe lights. one red on top of the fuselage and another at the bottom. one on each side of the wings and one more at the tail near the APU exhuast cone, which is white. hehe sorry got carried away abit :offtopic:

anyway you can try a car accessories shop at bugis village. they have a single or double strobe light for sale there. i used to fix it on my tail assembly and wired it to my brake light.

car accessories shop at bugis village?okie..will drop by one day to check it out.any workshops can fix it rite?

you just answered your own worries bro. iceduck submitted his certs alone. for the yoshi pipes, Motoworld and Yoshimura are involved. i can say that once Yoshimura produces documentation for GSR400, it's all systems go already. Motoworld will help with the legal processes. so i don't see why you guys should be so negative about this. Both manufacturer and distributor have already expressed interest in getting the pipes legalised. so why worry bro? just wait and pray. it's not going to be a one week process anyway. to get something legalised takes a few months.

actually i not worry about Yoshi pipe.. I just wonder if LTA really play "hard to get" for individual application.. lol.. who know may be 1 day i need to go thru the same process like iceduck for other accessories???.. :)

Ohhh the "TP Attractor" beacon.

What do you mean TP attractor ? ,i tink the light represents a call sign for the white ants, to help you clarify or give you papers if your bike is so called not hip within fashion. Have you not heard of fashion police:faint:

i used to have that on my bike, then i took it out...it came with a relay and the light is in a form of a tube, in U shape... it also have a condom over it...

it was attracting white ants and i took it out.... i do still have it though...

If SIAS light faulty super troublesome. Gotta remove the whole console. Dismantle it all da way just to reach the LED. Gotta de-solder the old and plug in new. Wow. If i had to do that, i would change the colour of all the other LED as well. BLUE OR GREEN....

cannot la the aircraft strobe lights are powered by a 28VDC source.

That case use the one from Limbat ah. 12vdc. The strobe is bright enuff. Meant for forklift indicators. :thumb:

hi guys... 2 days get 2 new pages... read till my eye also :giddy:

anyway regarding the pipes.. if they dun approve then we also cant do anything rite? then wat to do... i guess will change the bike to another one which can easily get pipes change... is such shame on them for not legalised our bike... if they legal 1 or 2 and can u imagine how much it will help our GSR resale value? i guess it will be better then any S4. 1 of the main issue y our resales value low is bcos there is no legal pipes to change. as ppl will think buying a stock bike only... nth much can play... if the yoshi didnt get approve then i will leave this GSR already.. sorry but is really sucks without the sound that will roar the road! i believe our bikes will produce a massive sound and far better then any 400cc bikes!:thumb:

waaah bro you leaving gsr because of pipes?,waah really man next time you wanna buy must recce whether got aftermarket pipes or not khekhekhekhe, for me aftermarket pipes will just slow me down(even if it's legal lta wil suka2 stop u and ask for certification papers),cause of the sound it bears during moving off ,then everybody goes .waaaah son fast sia!!! :faint:hehehe.

is not juz bcos the pipes. as wat i say is without the pipes also it will make our resales value low. and if u get legal pipes but u remove the silencer then wat should i say? is u who make the sound louder rite? so kena stop is ur bad luck... if u say will slow us down? i dun think TP will juz stop us for nth unless u look like ah beng:cheeky: i stil remember i travel around 100kmh. then TP come slow behind me but then i slow a bit and around 90+ then he juz move on and nvr stop me... i do think they only stop those which they suspect they speed and ride dangerous. they are human and they also rider like us... they understand how we feel as well... do u ever see TP riding at 90kmh or below on expressway? i dun think they will cos is juz too slow for their 900CC open box machines to run in that condition as the water will keep bursting heat to their leg:angel:

Any bikes sell also low mah...Buy today, sell tomorrow price already drop that is always the reason I gave to people buy bikes. Unless you wanna keep the bike long, resale value will not matter. Have you tried asking the resale price of GSR400? I think would be similar to S4 (Of coz depend on the outlook of the bike). If you are thinking of changing once reach Class 2 status, better off getting a 2nd hand bike like S4 or XJR or XR and endure till pass. Money saved now can be well spent in the future.

I do not think it a matter of exhaust systems. There are many other mods that can be put into the bikes. Its farnie to evaluate a bike on its exhausts system hahhaha.

Bro, travelling at 100km/h on the expressway is not an offense la. Unless you go 20km/h over the speed limit. Furthermore got speedo error...you might just be travelling at 93km/h (shown on speedo 100km/h).

TP bike the best and go show and fast at the same time hahahha. Have you seen them moving at 60km/h and your bike is the one that overheats (saw on a 1000cc bike)? hahahha.

i really feel funny it u say like this... wat kind of mod u can do with the bike? is already fierce enuf with the look!:cheeky: got ppl ask me is this bikes 1000cc? :dozed: i think they really nvr see a 400cc with such big size:angel: so if go for lighting.. S4 also can do lighting... but is illegal.. put box??? eh... bulky? then wat else we can play? nth much but pipes which show the pride of this bikes:thumb: we own GSR bcos its beauty. and such beauty add with the Yoshi is a perfect match!

Its the same as hydrolic clutches...not all bikes are made the same...example, African Twin & BMW GS, do you mean they cannot travel at slow speed? If cannot, then how to negotiate rough terrain? Must move at 100km/h on sandy patches? Coz scared overheat?

Further more to see what bike the best is to see what TP uses. The bikes are workaholic man. I wonder how much they clock in a year. They won't get a bike which is high maintenance do they?
