Hi

 

Basically how to noe when to change spocket and chain?

I went to the bike shop and tighten my chain and was told that my spocket spoiled (At some point the chain tension is just nice, at another point, the chain is very tight)

 

Meaning i have to change my spocket already?

Whats the est. mileage to change chain and spocket?

 

Any advise? thanks

Sounds like the sprocket is warped already. Or that u like to drag a lot with saggy chain. hahahahhaha. Well if u already have that issue then its time to change already. Dun wait til it affects other parts. Jus change it. Estimated price is about 200-250 depending on type of sprockets and chain.

Did you do regular chain 'oiling' ? If not, maybe you can try to oil the cain and see if it works. Use Singa Oil or Used/New Engine Oil. See if this able to solve the chain problem. Sometimes the some poitns on the chain no lub.

 

As for sprocket, if the teeths are sharp, you are due for change. If dunno, can come down to our outing and let the others see. Else juz go to a reputable bike shop so won't kena chop.

 

Other than that, can't help you much coz dunno the condition of the problem.

Thought previous post already mentioned WACKO exos is legalised for 400 version? correct me if I am wrong.

Bro if you put ur bike on a paddock stand,you start spinning ur tryes.you do notice,it will sag on one point and not after a few turns of the tyres rite!!! thats where you adjust,prolly due to wat bro freako say.but do take note ,Oil,Check,Tighten to the rite specs.if not, early call of chainjing must be done.do pm freako for the best price and which workshop haave the best deal:angel:

Wheel Balancing

 

Dear Friends,

 

Could you please advise where I can get my wheel balanced. I did wheel balancing when I brought my new BT016 from Ah Boy, but they did not do it properly.

anyway i usually use chain tube to lube the chain. but seldom clean the chain.

I would recommend u Planet motor but he's place always crowded. U can try Bikeworks at Kaki Bukit industrial estate...

hei guy, jus went to MW last sat.. ask abt the Wacko power.. they said still waiting for the letter from lta.. btw they left with 1 titanium & it cost a BOMB..!!! $1495.. dunnoe if it's worth it or not..

and 1 more thing.. i'm havin a problem cornering.. everytime i corner the bike is like a pogostick.. i'm going up and down.. like see-saw.. do u guys noe wats the problem..?? is my bike shocks too soft..?? or my tire not enough air..??

Have your suspension calibrated.

There is a specific way to adjust the preload plus rebound and compression setting correctly. Need to measure the bike's suspension with sprung and unpsrung weight.

Its called setting the sag if I recall correctly.

 

You can do this at BikeLab or at Bikeworkz.

I do mine at Bikeworkz. After my last fork servicing, the shop screwed up the adjusted one and reset everything. Bike became a pogostick.

Went down to BikeWorkz and all set back correctly based on my weight.

How about doing a grp buy.maybe can get at a good price and somemore can order from them. Like that will not waste time gg down.

Will still need to go down. I can do the asking. Coz you will need to deposit to confirm. I would think deposit at min $500.

I usually kopi money them.

Sometimes free coz I quite ok with BikeWorkz boss.

What you can do is go down on your next servicing (oil change or something) and ask them help look into it.

Thats becos your car dun have "WORLD POWER"... its sumthing like WACKO POWER.... I am certain if u install an alternative "POWERPLANT DEVICE" sure can fly...

 

Oh yah. I forgot to add. I used to do 320km/h down the "gap" at south bouna vista on my NSR sp. My NSR can beat any BUSA flat out... Thats becos my SP got Powerplant device plus "Battery Stabiliser" device. My spark cable i use thicker gauge transformer power cable so that every spark can light up the sky. More powerful than the energy released during nuclear fission. Becos its too hot. I use "Water Wetter" for my radiator so can help cool my bike to at least -10 degree celcius. I forgot to add that i also install "SUPER DAYTONA FAST THROTTLE". So i one blip of the throttle can beat the 1 litre bikes. Thats y NSR SP can beat BUSA anytime...

 

 

edit: Someone PM me earlier. He reminded me that i also used a SUPER AIR FILTER. So the bike take in 100% pure oxygen. So i get FULL COMBUSTION. There was a recent study by SBF forumers as they were amazed why so many SP and Aprilias can beat TP's and go over 200+km/h. Its only recently they found out they used the "SAF(Super Air Filter)". But those guys cannot beat me still lah cos mine use a different "Powerplant Device"
