Singapore is just too small and crowded to enjoy the pleasure of riding a big bike...

And if you go Malaysia and Thailand...

It is not your country...

How far would you enjoy the ride? Sigh...

Unless we live in Europe, the Americas or Australia...

That is why the background is the mountains and the long uninterrupted road with its twisties...

hi guys,is time for me to change my stock tires after 2years+...but i dunno which tires is good.can anyone recommend?hopefully the tires can last for at least more than 2 years and good grip of cos...thanks!

If you're not into racing or riding fast or cornering... then go for sport tourer tyres. They are the ones that has longer lifespan. Anyway, they are ideal for normal Singapore street riding. Just do some searching and price comparison between different manufacturers to meet your budget.

You're right about Singapore... not much scenery. However, if we travel up north and past KL... the scenery at along Ipoh is :thumb:. Only different is that we wun be enjoying the high mountainous air like those in Europe. Well... at least we have Cameron or Genting to satisfy those who hunger for cornering!

Precisely what I am looking for... those that were sold in Singapore are either too short or diameter of the wire is too thin... easily cut by those construction wire cutter.

With this length... it can be used for multiple usage... so at least wun hinder or constraint by the length. Like they say... the longer the better... the thicker the best!

If encountered with thugs from Mlysia... can use this as a defend... whip their arse... Ouch!

Hahahha...you wan to take out the whole gang of rempits iz it? With a reach of 4m, you must train now to get big hand power hehhehe.

what about michelin bro?

Michelin is juz a brand bro. Its the technology that makes a difference. You may wanna search out of SBF to get the ideal tires for you.

Its like Sportec M1 and M3. Both are using different compound. One costs more than the other. Usually tires of the same technology will have almost the same price tag across all brands.

No lah... if it is a gang, the only thing you see is my tyre trail... hahaha. If it is maybe one or two thugs, I think I still can handle. 4m of wire can be used for skipping ropes as well. :D

UM recommend me metzeler Z6 Interact...$425 now

Haha... strangely enough... I am using that tyre now. Just changed to that one month ago. So far so good. Traction wise is good for both hot and wet weather. Handling wise, after changing from my stock tyre to this, I feel the bike is more agile, most likely due to the rounder profile of the tyre.

I think you should read Razi's links to the reviews and make your decisions. Personally, I am happy with the Z6.

I've just switched to a pair of pilot road 2's.. It's a dual compound tire, so I hope it wont become spongebob as fast as my stock bt014s.. haha.. But so far I really like it's performance.. 3rd day on the tires and I can lean to the edge of the tires with full confidence..

I got up to 199 km/h at 11 rpm but my metalllic tank bag almost fly off (was flapping badly at the sides) so i close the throttle. mine is the new 09 model so im still left with abt 3 rpm before hitting the red line at 14 rpm. GSR 4 can surely hit 210 f im not wrong. Wondering will the top end be lowered once you have the yoshi pipes; considering that some power might be compensated to the lower and mid range when you re-tuned. Advice on this pls..

Saw the GSR guys at simpang last week with one of them having the yoshi pipes, looks very beautiful and definitely more garang...
