Blloody someone broke my right mirror. He probably tried to squeeze in although it was in the afternoon and there were quite a few empty spaces at the tanjong pagar railway...

Darn... I parked nicely in an empty lot man... so many other place at the railway and he had to choose to put it beside me and carelessly...

Came back from Shenton area to find my mirror placed nicely on my seat... bugger...

Most handlebar (including GSR) all fall under the almost standard 7/8" diameter.

Fatbars have a thicker 11/8" diameter centre but the ends are still 7/8".

 

There are some unconventional sizes (mostly continental and Euro bikes). But quite rare.

The unofficial 'standard' allows for aftermarket parts to be used on various brands and models of bikes. Not to mention easier for the bike manufacturer to 'reuse' certain parts across several models (GSR kill switch control is similar to the GSXR sportsbike, for example).

 

As long as this fits 7/8" I think it should be fine.

No need mirror la....MotoGP no mirrors....even lacing 2B fold mirrors in...juz a waste of time hahaha.

I am sure he would apologized but all the above showed he just tried to ride out and not be cautious about the bikes around him. Its the force that was inflicted that I am not happy about. I dont mind it if its just the mirror. I am accepting of that. But for the extent of what happened, I am pretty sure if the guy has been more careless, my bike would have received some ground loving. It just shows neglect.

Looks like lorry or some sort of big heavy vehicle. Why did you park so far away? Iz it because of ERP? Shenton got bike lots.
