Wat rotor? Wat rubbing?

Dude.. U wasted 75 for goldfren and u gave it back to them?

If you are saying the pads are sorta close and sliding or floating above the brake disc then THATS WAT ITS SUPPOSED TO BE.

If you are saying that the pads are fully depressed onto the brake discs then its better you open up the calipers and clean the break pistons. Most probably the pistons are stuck with all the brake dusts.

Any brakepads has its own properties. U gotta know how to break in the pads. U buy a pad for 100 and u end up glazing it also no point...

hmm.. yah i meant the discs.. the pads were rubbing hard on the discs such that my bike doesnt even roll freely clutched in. went to complain then they change to WP for me. now they're not tight but slightly rubbing against the disc.. hope its supposed to be like that like u said. haha.

**** experience for me. charge so expensive and they dint even bother to explain.. most likely im never going back there.

Join us at the DIY later. Too many things to point out for 2nd hand bike. But for first hand. Can give it a try at loois down at kaki bukit. Pricewise i guess around the 15.5k - 18k range. Without ABS would be cheaper. But the 09 version has more horsepower.

You'll get a better response if u put it up on CMO section...

Not necessary to target jus GSR...

Plus we dun want to attract unwanted attention to this thread...

Trust me. We have more eyes monitoring us then u can think...

Dear All,

I'm facing a problem with my bike...hope to find some answers and help from here...thanks!

whenever i give the throttle a slight twitch whereby the rpm goes up then down quickly, the engine stalls...even though I clutch in...this is a little worrying, as it is not only when the engine is cold...it also happens mid way riding, if I downshift and am not careful with the throttle...suspect it is the clutch free play or the idling time being too low...i think the engine idle is how it is when it was stock, which is about 500...not sure...

Yes the idiling is too low!!! Be it in Japanese or English, I'm sure can read/guess the numbers on the manual. Unless yours is a 2nd hand. Manual goes missing.

Manual says 1.1k to 1.3k. You may wanna adjust to that specs. Try adjusting around 1.2k.

And NO it does not suck a lot of petrol at that idiling RPM. SPEEDING/"FAST WRIST" does cause the FC to suffer.

Its an easy fix. Just remove the right plastic panel covering the engine. Only after that u could look below the right side frame. Look for a screw/knob. Start the engine and turn it. RPM should go up or down. Bring it up to 1.2 - 1.3. Careful of the hot engine. Durian gloves help.. IF u can direct a screwdriver to the screw lagi better.

my idling rpm is at 0.9k. so far so good, no problems. in fact it idles quite steadily.

should i adjust too?

Yup... Its reccommended... U dunt want it to suddenly die cos u cant keep the rev up while making a corner.

Neway was at Unique Motors jus now. Seriously with the package prices for EO. I'd go there everytime my bike hits 5000km. Hahhahaha...
