Anyone had dealings with New Southern Motor at Bukt Merah b4?

It seems thats the only place that will bring in 09 models at a additional charge.

Seen a few pple asking for second hand GSR400. Sharing my info based on last friday. Loois Motor has 3. i-motor has 1. New South Motor has 2. All silver color 1. ASP Toh Guan and Serrangoon has none.

Loois Motor got a 09 blue model... but reserved by some1. New Southern Motor also have 1 brand new but 07 model.

Thanks for the update, guess i'll be visiting Mr Lee this weekend to have a look at what he has. I don't trust the other shops on the list.

hello bros

I wanna ask... I just bought HEL lines for my gsr.. but the things is, whenever I use front braking at >90, the handle bar will wobble. Any idea whats the cause of it ?

Before this, when I was using normal brake line, no such issue... after installing the HEL line then got this problem.

Could be many factors. Brake Discs Warp? Bad brake pads? Loose Wheel Bearing?

Hello guys,

Anyone installed scottoiler? Just want to ask if there is any switch to on off? Coz when I bought the bike, it was installed under the seat. There is one tube connected to the chain, and another short tube not connected. And one electric cable towards the batt, an I do not where it ends

There iz no on-off switch. Be it the vacuum model(V-System) or the electric model (E-System).

You can refer to their webby for more info.

Bright red or maroon red? FBB plate?

Lol, Ninjapura, the Girl-rider-in-shorts-riding-gsr bike is of dull red as I remembered because it is not as bright as yours and nah, it wasn't FBB.

Sorry Flareon, I was too tired to go over to Bikeworkz to check out your bike as I had to walk back and forth from my Airbase to Loois, Motoworld. They seems to be in a good mood today as they released my spare key without forcing me to make a spare one on the spot.

I saw Naz and Esperados at Motoworld too. They only made me jealous.

Its quite expensive though but nonetheless useful. Good for those who could afford...anyway for those living in Jurong West, I've seen at least 2 regulars at the carpark where I parked my bike, please keep a lookout for my key which I dropped it. Here's the story,

Recently, on the 13rd of July, I have dropped the key to my bike, it is very unfortunate for me as I have no access to my bike right now.

Henceforth, I would like everyone who live around that area to keep a lookout of a Suzuki Key attached to a blue Suzuki lanyard with a small mickey mouse car handphone strap, a home made crochet Red/White Mushroom, a small Engineer's Square keychain and 2 unidentified small keys.

Thanks alot!

Hi bro,

Before this, I was using normal lines and braking at 140+ was perfect. On that particular day, the only service I did was the change the brake line to HEL brake line. I did not change the brake pad, not change wheel, nothing at all. Just the line itself.

Could it be that there is air in the lines? Which caused it to interbraking one line thus causing the wobble?

Did u install it yaself? If u did then high chance its air bubbles.

Should come down to the DIY's.

As for now, best go to a bikeshop for a proper bleeding...

Hi peeps, met this guy after my friday prayers at the sembawang mosque. Approached me, asked me how far can my bike go with full tank. Told him previously can reach 300km before reserve blinks, nowadays 280km before reserve. He seems unsure of his milage though, saying he had to pump every 3 or 4 days riding from NYP to woodlands.. Anyway, told him our bikes fc abt 20-23km/litre.

How many north riders are there here? i know flareon stays north..

@EJ: These days, seems like everybody's busy. Me too, trying to search for my lost key. Also much apologies for being unable to join any of the DIY so far. It seems to be my great misfortune that my shift days clashes with the DIY.

@googly.zar: FC depends on the condition of the bike, riding style and any performance modifications made onto the bike. Anyway, mine's at 23km/L so far. Flareon is an enigma, he stays in the north and do his servicing in the east. I stay at Sengkang though.
