Ok guys, I'm considering the maintenance of chain by cleaning it and lubing as compared to when I just lube on my previous bike... Bobbins + Packjack or Wheel Jockey is the better option? Wheel Jockey can use on any bike without additional parts, but considering the friction and slip-off as compared to Packjack which allows the wheel to spin freely... Anyone used any of these?

There's no main stand available for the GSR. Since 2006 until now there's none available.

rien d'autre que le max.

could be your IU unit... try holding on to the cover and see if the rattle disappears

My IU Cover flew away 1 month back. So im pretty sure its not that. LOL

Anw, its more of the engine sounding rough when the pick up from 5k RPM to 7k RPM ( Hence the vibrations ) Any bros can comment ?

This is not the 'Herky Jerky' syndrome right ? The pick up has always been smooth until recently. Perhaps time for a oil change ?

Packjack looks solid enough. I never trusted wheel jockey.

Time for valve clearance perhaps?

its a valter moto footrest.. Unique quoted me that price range.

Why are you even getting a aftermarket footrest?

Any idea how much does it cost ? I got my gsr from LOOi and it came with a 6 month warranty period. Does it cover valve clearance ? ( Since it has only been 2 months i got my bike )

Don't think warranty cover it. Probably in the range of hundred odd? Gotta go down to a shop and ask, and if you ask me, I'd recommend Planet Motors at Ubi.

hello guys, any idea how to reduce the vibration on the handle?

just got my GSR400 and realize the vibration can cause the side mirror to move by itself.....

Installing heavier bar ends such as the Motivation ones might change the vibes to lower revs instead.

Other than that you can also stuff foam into the handle bar which is tot by one senior here..

1st - Bajaj Pulsar 180i

2nd - Yamaha FZ 150i

3rd - Suzuki GSR 400

4th - Suzuki GSXR 1000 K9

5th - Kawasaki Versys 1000 (Current)
