Just got the Gsr400 too previous owner an ah pek age 58 2009 model.This ah pek funny la in front use Maxxis 120/70 lucky behind Dunlop 180/55 but gonna bald soon.I notice that the acceleration from 0-125kmh is way better than S4..Quite confidence to overtake turbo taxis too unlike S4 have to exceed 6000rpm b4 Vtec kicks in.Just change engine oil,Airfilter,Denso iridium plugs and try top speed at JB.Gues the Ah pek never exceed 130kmh.From 110-140 bike feel so heavy like something stuck inside the pipes but still manage to get 170kmh and surprisingly the engine feel lighter now.Plan to send for respray cause color nearly faded liao

Bros really need help here...recently i ride my gsr and suddenly it felt like as if no power at all and sometimes the key light indicator light up..and my engines starts to wobble and died off.and i quickly drop gear and jump start again....much help is needed thanks bros and my last mileage i change eo is alrealy 5400..everyday jurong island to tampines...to n fro

u can try Looi motor. but seldom people buy new gsr400 nowadays. shop will bring PI and price can easily reaches 20k i think.

Bought a car 8 month back .. and I am rarely using my GSR400...

somehow cannot make up my mind .. to sell it ... its such a lovely bike ... and ride is always a breeze...

Bought my GSR 400 3 years ago without service and maintenance manual. Recently my millage click 60,000km and I just wander what kind of things that I need to replace and what are the item that I need to service. Please advise.

Last Service done on 20-04-2013 (65000km)

Comes with Yoshi pipes with certificate

Barely used Michellen tires changed late last year at around SGD400.hardly any mielage after that.

battery less than a year old.

K&N Air Filter.

 

 

Always serviced at Planet motors every 5K km.. if someone want to check.

Always used Motul fully synthetic engine oil. Around SGD25-28

Last service was done recently .. and barely used after that.

Bike is not in use since Jan this year(because bought car).

 

No accident. Engine is very good. Bike in very good condition.

Always used for home-office-home. Punggol-Changi Business park.

 

Also I can let go:

Bike cover( which I never used)

1 spair helmet

half tank petrol

Few points:

1 One of the Yoshi pipe is scratched a bit and on the same side fender is also. This was due to a skid in parking .. within a week of buying. I remember I had posted about this on this forum way back. So people could trace to verify the words. Wanted to repair .. but folks advised not to.

 

Selling it because dont want to waste it by keeping it at parking .... dont get time to use it after I bought car late last year.

Hi,Two days ago I decide to ride my GSR4 to JB with my friends riding Z750 and GSXR6.Usually I always drive to JB but decide to ride cause got long time kakis.Upon reaching Pontian those two already speed like hell and I was like wth but I've no choice but to follow up.Ive got no confidence since its only 400cc and was thinking only 170 the max I could get.But I decide to use clutch less shifting and to my surprise speedo show 182kmh before decide to slow down to average 140-150.I must admit its not bad for year 2009 bikes.Bike was fully stock by the way and before this I ride no more than 145kmh

Hi, was riding in the rain just now. After I park my bike, I can see smoke coming out from the radiator part. Then it so call leave a 'burned' mark on my fork area. Anyone know what's wrong with my bike?

My GSR battery died. I try to jump start it with ... but it gives "CHECK" all the time. Initially I though its because of less fuel .. but filling tank also didnt help.

Amigos .. anny idea what could be the issue?
