halo to all,

have been reading thru this threads (nw at page 170 and more to go ) coz thinking of getting a GSR400...(hopefully in OCT:lovestruck:)...

 

Well, went to looi today to see see look look touch touch....hmmm... am still deciding on whether a 400 or 600.

well anyway most prob will be getting a 400 coz no difference on size...and oso to save on expenses.

 

 

got a quote frm mr lee for 13.7k otr for comprehensive cover...interest at 5%.taking up a 5 yr loan. no penalty if i strike 4d to pay up all. but no discount. is this the usual practice??? coz i read that interest oso got 3% 4% ?????

freebies include helmet and bike cover only...is there anything else i can ask for free????

 

anyway i look forward to joining you guys in your outing to learn more about the bike before getting the bike in oct......

good evening to all...how are things? today is a very heavy and wet day till night...just to let u guys know friday i be getting my bike...matt black k7...thank to swoosh for the info...so anything on this friday other then the durian eating...which sad to say i dont eat durian but still can go...

 

any new if the bbq i plan to do in december is everybody agree?

for the 5 yr period....one of the reason is that i don't intend to change bike. that is y me is still indecisive between a 400/600...

 

still at planning and saving stage thus might down more.....or take up a shorter term....

 

btw i noe that the S4 group have a comprehensive list and pricing of the parts and accessories. just wondering why no one in the GSR group is doing that. its actually a very handy list to have....

thats abt 600/year, 50/month...

think of it that way...

 

its wise to make a long term plan,

cos there ll be hidden cost... like ur servicing, changing of engine oils/spart parts... n not forgetting there ll be lots of poison here...

n if ur willpower is not strong enough, u ll end up getting lots of stuffs for ur bike... which ll make ur pocket even tighter...

 

as for e comparsion between S4 n GSR,

we dun really see e need to list down everything...

cos most of e time, u juz come here, tell us wat u need, n wats ur budget, n e frenly guys here ll help u source for e cheapest lobang available...

so no worries on that...

 

n also, its pretty meaningless if we list down ALL e accessories/aftermarket parts available, u may not even want to consider some of em...

 

we ll recommend wat is essential...

GSR is still relative new in the market though its about 1 year 6 mths. parts n accessories is not that widely available anywhere as compared to S4. n oso, our community is not that big so we can't have much inputs here.

 

we r just a small family n we share wat we know here. b it problems, lobangs, parts, projects etc...

Get a 600 and u have to top up another 2k which mean interest cost increased to $3.5. Some more, middle weight bike in spore low in demand. For street riding in Spore 400cc is good enough. New bikes interest rate should be 4 percent, when Oct comes negotiate with Looi's again!
