The Z1000 is more wicked definitely but the FZ1 is more muscle.

 

 

Performance, i dont know much about the FZ1 so cant comment.

 

Both bikes are under my favourites list.

fazer thousand with & without faring is both sexay...& its a YAMMIE!!!

xjrredbull: i like the one without fairing, but then again if i get it, then touring will be a big problem without the windshield. so far otr, i've only seen 1 without fairing at motoworld fixing up a scram bar. it looks so compact n small. with a huge ass tank.

tour???well i really like fazer 1000 since it came into the scene...now esp with the one w/out farings, it made me go gag ga all over again..i wud pick the one with farings for practical reasons & tours but then i ride up to Mersing without high tour farings, to me no probs man..

i tried both fazer 1000 wif flaring and no flaring.

Comments, with flaring: feels more mighty, BIGGER, better for touring

without flaring: just like S4 just bigger tank, wider handle bar, not good for touring.

but both are good bikes so it really depends on how the feeeel....

since i am a headfaring lover, i will want a fazer with farings & double headlights...

 

BUT i am a streetfighter by heart...so i also loved the new fazer thousand & spunky look....
