not applicable to me! hehe amsoil supporter

Is Amsoil better than Castrol engine oil? Thought of trying Castrol.

Is fully synthetic better than semi-syn? I heard fully synthetic lubricates & stick to metal surface better - shorter time to warm up engine.

Any comments?

am not sure which oil is better but so far amsoil works for me and i am happy w it so am sticking to it.

nothing wrong w using semi sync just tat you may need to change sooner. once you 'upgrade' to fully sync, it's not adviseable to go back to semi sync

Hi to all Bol'Dorians!

How are you guys doing?

Just finish my run-in of my bike at 3000Km. So I did a major work of changing into Fully Syn Oil, Iridium spark plugs, change of brake pads and tightening of chain...

Also just got a Garmin GPS mount for the bike, so now I can mount my Garmin Legend on to the bike comfortably and track the GPS satellite!

So... about the adjustment of the beam angle for our Bol'Dor, anyone finds it useful?..... :cheeky:

just now at Motorworld to fix my new 7 point groundings, i met Dr guru & Panther from the Mods Club Gathering forum. (What a small world)

Had a good chat & demo from Mr. Panther on what a Modster can really do to his super 4. His bike had blue glowing LEDs on his front & rear huggers. When he switched it on - every customers in Motorworld crowd around his bike and ask him where he installed it - really head turners.

Surprisingly , those LEDs mods aren't too expensive, according to him. :thumb: I think I must get also it

Wow bro Gaofar,

You really pamper your Boldor with so many upgrades - if you don't go for long distance bike touring, it will be sai yang.

If you plan to make trip to Malaysia or further , I recommend you also install a bike alarm. Preferably a 2 way alarm if possible. I think a bike alarm is also useful in locating the bike - in case forgotten where it is parked.

Glad to hear more bold'ors on the road, but then again, if there's too many out there, it kinda loses its unique appeal? haha...

anyways tt6389, the leds on a bike really screams "ah beng" to me, machiam like those souped up cars being "zhng-ed" by equally shiny led lights under the chassis. Actually a better comparision will be like having a shiny led handphone light up in the darkness of the cinema hall, everybody will be staring at you and depending on who is the individual, some might actually get embarassed for it being such an attention seeker.

Well, to each his own... :cheeky:

tt6389: Yea, like I mentioned in the other thread, great chat we had. Nice to see you planning to get some. Guru has quite a selection I suppose you can ask him about. And the Boldor, like I told you, has quite a few more places to put LEDs in.

KKK: Right. "Beng" in the sense of the LEDs, but if you will take the time to reflect and really see this, you might not think the same way. It all depends on how one looks at it, and whether or not you believe it worthwhile to get such stuff for your bike. Besides, tt6389 forgot to mention that I also said something about legal ones, like changing meter bulb colors, which look nice on the new FBA meter dyes, the green-and-white ones, 3-in-1 indicator, stebel horn, etc. You could consider me "beng" for doing it but as tt6389 and Lass would tell you, I am not, and the same could be said for quite a few other modsters who have modified their bikes. We just like our bikes to look nice, is all.
