tt6389...Eh bro..must be careful at Taman U...last time my bike box kena pray open..helmet stolen..The guards at Jusco also like half past 10...complain want to see the CCTV but their reply makes ur blood boil more

That sound scary..the Jusco carpark so bright at night still got this thing happening.

When I parked my bike in front of the A&W glass panel, a local lady parked her Honda Wave next to me and chain her front wheel to something. So crowded place she still scared ppl steal her bike.

at 7200rpm, can only hit about 160km/h.... total RPM is 14000 and red zone starts after 12000rpm...

160km/hr more than enough for touring liao.

need to depends on gear too

so far, mainly running on gear 6...

although yamaha recommendation is to go till 1600km for the run in... but i prefer to still continue to 'run-in' on at my own pace... so that the rest of the gears get proper fittings...

1 DAY EXPLORATION TRIP 7TH OCTOBER SATURDAY - PULAI WATERFALL & KUKUP & PONTIAN TRIP & BATU PAHAT

We'll meet at GP Esso at 8am. Target to return to Spore before 8pm.

1. Pulai Waterfall-->

2. Kukup -->

Travel along western coastal roads up to Batu Pahat. Then return by NS Highway to Singapore.

3. Pontian Kechil -->

4. Pontian --->

5. Batu Pahat Wet World -->

We'll have breakfast in Pulai town somewhere first, before going to the waterfall. If we have time, we'll also visit the Batu Pahat hotspring (but chances very slim coz programs are packed). I think the star attractions are the Pulai Waterfall & the Batu Pahat Wet World. Must spend more time there.

We'll begin our return journey at bout 5pm back to Spore. We can also go to that scenic Permas Jaya Makan place for nasi lemak dinner. Unless you people prefer to try out the SBF 's favourite Taman U A&W or the West Side thread's Yoon Lai Tim Sum in Kulai.

Travel speed on Western coastal roads towards the north should be 80-100km/hr. But the return journey from Batu Pahat to Spore by NSHighway is probably 140 km/hr.

Names (Confirmed):

1. tt6389 (Tim - 94882527)

Names (90% confirmed):

1. Ones_co (One of friend on haya coming along)

2. Panther

3. K3

4. pktan ( he PM me)

..................................

9 more days to go...

My Garmin GPS is not the type that you can just buy then use immediately to find location of places/ customers instantly using a Search function for street names. The streets database inside is very very few.

Normally I will connect to PC with pre-installed software. Use the downloaded free map to search visually /manually (not auto search). Find the location of your place /customer, save the coordinates. Then click "Create new Route" to generate automatically route - if route is not following the expressways, but the smaller trunk roads (because it is mathematically shorter distance) - then need to intervene to change. Then download the route back into the Garmin GPS.

On the GPS , you need to activate the auto-routing function to guide you while on the move. It will flash big message & reminds you to turn left or right to reach you destination. Because the screen is small, you can't study the map to see where you are while on the move. Must rely on the bold message prompts in big letters to guide only.

You probably will take half a day or more to figure out how to do all these. Easier for you to take a cab there.

..............................

Other type such as PDA bluetooth GPS use a better software - Kingmap .

This kind of GPS , you can use it immediately after buying. Very short learning curve.

So far Kingmap software has very detailed streets database for Malaysia & Spore only. Means you can type search for street name of customer in jb, it will show up the location & GPS coordinates & lead you there instantly by similar Auto-routing function plus voice & message prompts before every turns. No need to hook up to PC first to find the customer/ place coordinates & plan the Routes unlike my Garmin GPS.

But the down side is your PDA battery will drain faster, unless you have charger on your vehicle.
