is not. bcos local bike shop has already their own shop. why should they pay for stall and exhibits their stuff. also need to give 20% discount. no profits, so 'boycott' lor

i actually went guran caltex.. but i see like no one selling..

then i also never ask....

after last top-up. there is R&R that cater to buses. so it have big compound. like football field size. there you can refresh/makan/buy insurance/imm cards fill. i think their insurance is cheaper around rm15/16 for 1 week.

 

even ntuc cover 50km into thailand. is still good to buy thai insurance. btw is a must to insure when riding in thai.

another facts is if involve accident and is within 50km, u might still spent time in station before assistance arrived.

 

don't know anyone have experience how ntuc insurance or its agent function in thailand!! then what happen if the thai police don't know about ntuc?

 

but if you got thai 3 party, u can just pay the excess and go. (i hope so to) as i have no experience before.

I'd rather eat in Thailand. hehe. Anyway, seems to me that buying insurance near the border is more expensive. Bought 9 days at RM24 at border and same thing for RM17 at Gurun

After you pay your petrol, you ask the cashier you wanted to buy thai insurance. You will be directed to an office next door. A pretty girl will appear and ask you for how long. Short time cheaper but must be at least a week.

 

She can also help you to fill in the Thai white form. Service charge rm1 for the white form. Next time when you want to go again, the form will be printed out by computer, ie just give ic nos and the form will be generated.

Changloon also has but I talking about gurun caltex. Gurun is about 100km from the border.
