SHAH ALAM: There will be no more hidden roadblocks and traps to book speeding motorists as police will now conduct such operations in the open.

 

Deputy Inspector-General of Police Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar, who announced this yesterday, said there would be no more “ambush” in such operations.

 

He said signs would be placed ahead of speed traps and roadblocks to forewarn motorists.

 

“We should not be hiding behind bushes or trees. We should come out in the open and enforce the law,” he said

If possible get a travel insurance to cover yourself

 

to have the following items under your bike seat.

1) Photocopy of Vehicle Log Card

2) Photocopy of Passport / NRIC / FIN

3) Contacts of NOK (Next Of Kin)

4) Contacts of your Travel Insurance

what we can do is to advice the rider how to make the risk lower
