hi guys.. i see many honda wave suffer from the problem of a weak charging system.. i.e. headlights and all lights flicker like mad when idling and only regain their full brightness upon throttle..

Any idea whats causing the problem? many ppl tell me cub is lik dat one.. but i doubt so..

How do i determine whether the rectifier/coil/battery is fried? i might be getting a wave soon and i m doing my research..

Hi, my Wave is a new one too and the headlight starts flickering since the day I bought it. But in order to minimise the flickering, you can try grounding it. My Wave is grounded so there isn't much or rather no flickering now. Hope it helps!

The bike is 'Wave' right?

So like a wave it goes up and down continously....as expected! hahaha

Anyway, I seem to notice that bikes made in Thailand or some other Asian countries have poorer quality batteries...maybe you can purchase a better quality battery that is 'made in Japan' with the same specification ( note the Ah rating used) and you will notice that this flickering would be less noticeable for you to notice.:D
