the bike looks cool man... but afew bad points: no extreme corners, parking, no wheelies.. hehe.. i wonder if they put in a busa engine.. shd be better

was invited to the official launch a few months back (chao, guys from t27 were there as well), had the chance to test ride the bike, while it looks futuristic and all, sad thing is, it's not exactly the most comfortable ride as far as a bike is concerned. Being a trike, navigating bends and turns is only by means of turning the handlebar, but unlike a 2 wheeler, or the Carver as similar comparison, the dual front shocks and low vehicle profile allows minimal banking, which while it minimizes the chances of the trike flipping on a sharp turn, there's little to hold the rider down except holding on to dear life on the bars. On a fast turn, i felt like i was on the verge of being thrown off the bike. The only way is to lean into the corner like you're on a track bike.

Another negative point about the bike is the missing front brake lever on the handlebars. Braking is purely by your right foot ONLY, which applies braking power to all 3 wheels. Not too used to it, cuz braking by hand on a bike has always proved to have better and faster reaction compared to foot.

All in all, i feel the trike is a rather confusing ride, attempting to fuse features of a car, bike, and ATV all into one without much consideration for the rider's comfort.

With the hefty price tag on the said ergonomics, i would rather opt for the Kawasaki Trex or the Carver. Btw, it's 36k MACHINE price.

juz something to share....not trying to scare u ppl or ask u all to quit riding. but sometimes no matter how careful we r on the road, there are bound to haf ******** drivers (except some of us) who tinks they own the road...

one of my junior sec sch fren got into an accident, he has the right of way on the main rd but this bloody car came out of minor rd.... bang onto him and he flew quite a distance..... resulting him lung slightly punctured, broken hip bones, and twisted his leg ankle, so bad dat he gotta amputate his left leg, halfway down his shin, gone. hes oni 21 yrs old. Hes recovering, but the pain and loss of his limb definately hit him hard, as sucha young age.

looking determined to carry on his life, wanting to get a degree and at a point even jokingly said wanna go back to riding after he recovers! and he smiled... "nah kidding!"

i tink many of us haf encountered similar incidents or much worse from frens or ourselves, but nonetheless we still ride coz of our passion and loves for bikes(even am still till now), but juz wanna add a word of caution and do do be alert at all times and always remember dat its better to be late, den never to turn up at the destination.

ride safe my bros and take gd care on the road k?

Godspeed to all!!...

Well, the spyder has its own uniqueness in terms of practicality and aesthetics. I did not have a chance to test ride it so I don't know how it feels like. But one thing is for certain. For the same price, I rather get a CAR. For the price I pay, I get to enjoy air-con, sheltered from rain, loud music and when tired, just doze off in my comfortable leather seat. :D

Maybe it is for larger ppl with longer arms and legs. In the movies like G.I. Joe, those "Extras" were riding this Spyder vehicle and it moves quite quick. Perhaps, there will be more prototypes of such vehicles in future?

Caught the Cruze TV commercial a few times - the ad keep showing the dashboard head unit - it is one HUGE piece of control panel - no wonder that Aunty sales person said "The head unit is nice, not nice meh?" Quite a prominent thing in the interiors of the car. Looks like not possible to fit a aft-mkt head unit.
