pipe sliencer fail how ?

i wan to ask ar.. my pipe is legal wif cert, but my sliencer is fail one. wad will the summon be if go lta ? also $500 meh

different price range given from forumers or from those who were fined before from $30 to $500 n some even posted as $1000 for bikes wif dual pipes eg R1 04-08,busa,K7 1000..

and d debate stil goes on w/o a final concrete answer..

how come silencer can fail? u take out then put back cannot use ah?

Defined as tampering wif exhaust..considered $500 oso...

some people take out stock silencer and make another one that looks like the real deal but doesn't reduce the noise like the original. put there just to show rov if they get stopped but once escorted back to lta inspection centre = tio liao. how i know? i almost made one on recommendation from a shop owner but i changed my mind.

i changed my pipe to aftermarket ones, went for inspection, the only testing that they did were on the co2 emission.. i never saw them do decibel test.. is this normal? wat decibel is allowed?
