Guys should i go for RC or sp?? 1mth never touch bike, haha.

go for sp. u get more practice that way. can go for as many revision rounds as u want.. rc u gotta hear the instructors crap

 

that time i go RC cos no more sp slot, instructor bring us defensive riding in mini circuit. ride with 1 hand 1 leg. waste so much time here and there. end up didnt get much practice.

I finally got my PDL and going for 6.01 on wed... very nervous.. 1st tyme gg on the road.. dunno wat to expect also...

failed caused instructor say i keep do wide corner then swerf (hack how u spell it) back.

 

end of lesson, he say i go up slope no problem, blind spot no problem also! signal he say i off after traffic light then turn on again before turning left which was wrong cause short distance should not off . . . next time mai kay kiang liao, on all the way before traffic -_-

 

well personally i keep forgetting to check blind spot, especially when turning to slope, signal i think i agar agar get it liao, go up slope still wobble like mad but nvr mention. when turning, i thought i no problem but he pointed and draw out a invert question mark and he say thats how i turn which is wrong. haizz, need to practise more

Don't worry,U get it after a few times.Like me...It will becomes a habit..

Now,everytime,I want to change lane or turn..I will always check blind spot,signal...check mirror...

on the road, important points

 

1. Travel at fast enough speeds (according to speed limit of road). Instructors sure scold if u travel slow.

2. Do your lane change gradually

3. Anticipate obstructions and signal right to avoid them (bus-stops, taxis stopping)

4. Dont blindly follow the person infront of u. Look far ahead and judge for urself.

5. Form up correctly at junctions

check or dont check, they dont know one.. Just make sure you dont go into the path of another vehicle.. But on road, 100 percent must check for safety reasons.

jus got back from my first 5.02 damn sian 12 points but one immediate failure: my crashbar clipped the pylon according to the instructor and it wobbled for a bit so considered strike pylon. zzz.

I feel for you, i got 4 pts at 5.02 but fell at ebrake. and thats pretty fcking unlucky when i think of it, every course in there all perfect but ebrake, sigh.

well, there's this cliche that failing lesson is better than failing TP.

 

fail lesson can book and go again tomorrow.

not quite leh? that time my grp, everyone pass at first attempt other than a lady. cant really remember what she did but I know she stall her engine in the middle of the road. but lucky was at those small road.

 

since you already can name out all the important point, be more careful the next attempt. continue to look out for all those points during your 7.01, 8.01, TP and future when u ride on the road on your own.

for 6.01 during my time also every one passed, but i think the instructor v linient.

one of the guy looked at the oncoming traffic at filter lane and banged onto the guy infront yet he still pass.

i think luck play a big part for bikers. maybe instructor never see? haha. heard of people right footing during tp, but still pass never-the-less.
