BBDC - Anyone Taking 2B There?

check or dont check, they dont know one.. Just make sure you dont go into the path of another vehicle.. But on road, 100 percent must check for safety reasons.

there is one thing i abit dont understand, is about checking back before moving off. is that checking our right blind spot, or is it actually turning your head all the way back? for me i always turn my head till can see behind pp without moving the handle bar. any idea why should we check back before moving off? to see behind traffic or? cant we just see the rear mirror?

it's for show only... check ur right blindspot...

mirrors checking in circuit, u can check only when lane changing, after e brake... that's all...

mirrors checking outside circuit... 10s check once.. for me...

sometimes on E way so happy running forget check.. untill 1 lorry tailgate me lol

i started my 2B in dec 2006. the first two lessons were ok

after that the instructors very sian.... fail me twice for a simple lesson (up the slope, 2.1 I think), i decided I'll stop. then was overseas for of the second half of 2007. cameback realised there is no other way to get a bike in SG... went back to BBDC

 

 

decided I'll just follow the instructions blindly, and viola, I passed my lessons from 3.1 to 8.1 all first time.... now waiting for TP, 14th May and end of may for getting my dream bike (phantom TA200 hopefully or NSR 150)

 

 

but have to admit, yea sometimes the instructor never check anything one... so depends on your luck too...

Potential road hazard

 

jus got back from my first 5.02 damn sian 12 points but one immediate failure: my crashbar clipped the pylon according to the instructor and it wobbled for a bit so considered strike pylon. zzz.

 

fail lesson at bbdc is the ultimate sian-ness

Imagine the instructors at BBDC think to themselves, "students who fail themselves gives me the ultimate sian-ness"

hey all i heard that during tp your bike will be randomly assigned to you by the driving centre. is that right? meaning you can't pick the bike number you want for the test?

 

cos i've been using the same bike for almost every lesson. i find this familiarity allows me to pass the lessons easier

Nope u cant choose. When 1 guy come back, the next number in the queue takes his bike and go.

 

According to the instructors, during the warm-up sessions before the test, any lousy bikes that are reported will be sent to the workshop and will not be used for the actual test. This to ensure that we get the best bikes.

 

Best to try out different bikes, cos different bikes have different handling style. If u only used to just 1 bike, u might face problems during ur test
