oh yeah. yesterday when i doing RR, i witness accident at junction involving two bbdc bikes

the front bike jam brake until skid to a stop at a green light (i dont know why -.-)

then the the bike at the back following too closely and cant stop in time so he slam into the front bike

and the guy from behind flew off his bike from the right lane into middle lane and rolled a few rounds

surprisingly, he got up unscathed. but he was lucky no car was in the middle lane or else....

ride safely guys!

Blindspots are killers, in reality on the roads outside, it really will kill you.

Rich guy, R15 ain't cheap. It'll be a waste if you don't keep it for long or drop it :faint:

yeah agreed. theres so many times checking blindspots prevented potential accidents for me while im driving outside.

heh. i'm probably keeping the bike for 3-5 years. would you advise me to get a old bike like sp or just go for a new bike which is problem free?

btw. the accident happened on a public road so the guy was flung off the bike at around 60-70kph

sometimes if you check blindspots too early or late, it is still considered never check blindspot to the tp. next time ask the instructors where is the ideal place to check blind spot. all the best for your next tp bro. it is 3 days away from my bday so you sure pass :D

At the lanes after crank course just before right turn in front of bike learners waiting area, got car moving very very slowly there.

So my question is if got car on left or right side of the lanes, should i wait at the junction ( light is green ) till i have minimum 1 m clearance from the car ?

Second question is checking of junctions left and right should be done just before the stop line? Can it be done just after the stop line? I am worried if i check junction just before stop line, i may proceed on umber after checking junction if my bike is moving.

i dunno what you trying to say in ur 1st qn but as for the 2nd qn u must check junction before the stop line. but just be careful and go slow in the bbdc traffic junction cuz the lights changes quickly

What i am trying to say is i am at the junction just after completing crank course. I am going to cross the junction but saw got car blocking either on left or right lane opposite. I am supposed to make a lane change from left to right lane after crossing the junction. So to avoid TP giving me any points, should i wait at the junction even though its green light until the car moved further up the lane(s)?

hmm..i think u should be able to move forward, unless the lane in front is so jammed that u'll end up stopping in the yellow box..signal ur intention to change lane and wait for an oppotunity to do so..

maybe u can check with an instructor for more clarification? :p

baby, u're my love..

You need to check much stringent while driving because of more blindspots IMHO ;)

I doubt you'll keep it for 3-5 years, maybe not even more than 2. Believe me, once you can upgrade to something 600cc and above, you won't want to hold on to this white elephant. A 2B bike is only a stepping stone, unless you are good enough to track with this bike or REALLY REALLY REALLY suck your thumb and bite your lips to use the 2B bike as transport forever like some of us

got 2nd hand R15 selling on garage sales already ma.

Its either

1) he can't pay

2) he's upgrading

3) he can't pay

4) he's upgrading

pick one

Ps: its not worth it to buy a 1st hand 2b bike as sometimes the price can get you a cl2 bike, think about it

wahh =( sorry to hear that, uncker stanco did mention turning ur head abit more..>.

i also kana some weird points during tp.. doesnt hurt to wayang abit, better luck at ur next go!!! :cheer::cheer:

..imo, r15 is rather reasonably priced brand new..

ur confirm getting a problem free bike, low maintenance and fuel consumption are the key advantages of r15.

oh, not forgetting the power of e-start! =x saved my butt a few times lol..

not a bad choice, assuming u dun mind the top speed being ~140 km/h

sp..might need to hunt for a better conditioned one..would be cheaper if ur planning to upgrade soon..~

i sort of wish i was there to see it! =x wonder what the instructors did..real lucky the fella wasnt injured!! >.

Good news ~

I just passed my 5.02 after 3-4 attempts :thumb:

Now i worry for 7.01 sia, the U turn seems so hard and scary ~ :(:(

congrats!! now that uve gotten this far, u-turn should be relatively easy to master..key thing is eye point..

u could request to try out u-turn during sp or rc, ask an instructor to guide u abit and help set up pylons in the mini circuit..bbdc instructors are quite helpful! :cheeky:

baby, u're my love..

Next one, turn your head completely. Some people claimed they checked blindspots but only using the corner of their eyes to do so hence the penalty.

Ha, 1 day before my TP i chionged... SP-RC-(Break)-SP-RR... Rly long hours... by the 2nd SP, you'll miss home le.. :cheeky:

At the end of the day... really SHAG ah... but its good to tire yourself out la... cuz some pple tend to suffer from insomnia the day before their test...

Do book your revisions early before run out of slots! esp RRs!

Cheers and good luck all!...

Now i worry for 7.01 sia, the U turn seems so hard and scary ~ :(:(

That time i was waiting for my TP.. so i stop going to BBDC for abt a month... So i go back for 1 RR session 3 days before my TP...

and guess what?

During RR...

1) Narrow plank fell off (Twice.. :faint:)

2) Knocked two cones in a row

3) Skidded at E-break

4) Fell on public road during U-turn... (Wahs... shock of my life... rly scary to get up and see all the cars zooming past you and your bike lying beside you..)

5) Juction for right-turn after the U-turn, i formed up wrongly...

:faint::faint::faint:

Ha, basically everything wrong la... Instructor even asked me... "are u sure u're ready for your TP not?"

Moral of story? avoid long breaks before TP. If you intend to have one, go for a SP or RC first to re-familarise yourself... aka dun gei kiang like me... :cheeky:

Careful of U-turns! ive been riding for 3months and i still fear U-turns... Lol

Agree agree... Make sure your whole head turn... Testers wanna see your entire helmet turn to one side...

Some instructors taught us to even exeggerate your turing of head to make it more obvious... :)
