BBDC - Anyone Taking 2B There?

Just did my first 2b prac lesson at bbdc this morning.

 

Hais, have to redo my 1.01 (demoralisedddddzzzzzaaahhhh)

Especially when today got total 3 person taking 1.01 (including me) and the other 2 like zai kia .. die there alone lol.

My balancing damn jialat .. and thus also affecting my stopping. I keep toppling over -.-"

 

I think the instructor also pek chek liao haha.. hHend up asking another guy to supervise me, and ask me to start going rounds since I kept wobbling when moving slowing in a short distance . .

 

Sigh.. think tomorrow or sunday go take again. muz practice until can .. T.T

moving in a short distance... as in half clutch go bang the tires on the wall? if so, i think the problem is that you are not looking far enough, or you might be looking down, that why you will wobble.

 

dont worry about failing practical. it beat failing tp at the end of the journey. concentrate on LEARNING during the practical and not PASSING the practical.

dont worry bro. just keep ur confidence level high and do well for the prac again. i also had to redo my 1.01 again cuz i didnt know how to ride a bicycle when i went there for the first time.

Not everything can be done the easy way, just try again.

Usually by about 11am, all testees would gather in a room where names would be called out. Most of the time, if your name is being called out, that means you had failed.

 

However, got one cheeky tester called out everyone in a detail to stand up, letting them to think they are failed but in the end announce only the 1st 2 person had failed.

they won't call your name. at most ur tag number only.

if getting from bike shop, just prepare lots of money.

 

if private owner, buy insurance from your preferred co., after that arrange with the seller go LTA, queue up then transfer ownership and the bike is rightfully yours.

 

road tax... jus renew online/axn machine if needed.

if ur purchase from a motortiam... time to get ur credit card/master card/cash/cheque book ready. as normally the pricest are quite steep from them unless u know the owner or mechanic who wont cut u nicely.

 

if private owner, view the bike, get ur insurance and carpark paid and meet seller at LTA for transfer. Road tax should have some days or months left when u buy from private owner lo. so just extend when the time is right.

ya..the waiting time is really sian. sometimes when the tester call out tag numbers in almost running sequence it damn demoralizing one..

yeah the waiting time for ur next tp really sucks. its like so long and it is so demoralising when your number is being called and the passers in the classroom are cheering when they know that they passed.

i still rememberwhen my 2b. me n my 3 friends were seating together. best part we were all in running order. when the tp guy didnt mentioned our numbers we started shouting and jumping like small kids like that. macam strike toto. haha.. good days.... but yeah the waiting time is hell long. still remember we went out makan first then came back. gd luck to those taking their test tomorrow..

most likely 70+. it is according to age so in the test number 1 is the oldest and 90 is the youngest.

dun feel like that or else it will affect ur confidence. just prove to the testers you got what it takes. in any case, tag number 1 is also very stressed..first one to go leh..haha

of course im nervous during tp:pray: and its normal to feel that cos its a test where so many pairs of eyes are looking at you.

 

and any thoughts of failing will only make you more nervous and hence more prone ro mistakes. testers dun really care so much abt the age, impt is did you prove to them you can ride safely and confidently? if yes, most likely ur tag number wint be called:thumb:

of course you feel very nervous lah. 10 testers all looking at you when you are doing the test. and you also dunno whether some people might sabo you due to some circumstances.

by right u can kana points under "moving off with wrong gear" if im not wrong cos i got ask instructor similar question before.

 

cos by right u exit s course and crank course with 2nd gear and enter slope with 2nd gear unless you need to stop or give way den u no choice but to move off in 1st gear. only then u can use the half clutch without worry.

 

having said that, it all depends on the leniency of the testers, 2b harder to catch cos the gear changing sound not that obvious to the tester but its a different case for 2a/2 bikes.

 

just my 2cents worth

 

I managed to overcome my problem above after doing some SPs.

 

So i want to share with learners whom had the same problem.

 

When exiting S and crank course, remain in 2nd gear and the same speed. Try to exit nearer to the right side of the exit so that when turning left you can be more smooth and would avoid wide turning. Also, try to bank down a bit when turning.
