BBDC - Anyone Taking 2B There?

hello guys sorry to crash into the thread but can i know for car license in bbdc how many practical lessons are we suppose to take? and also my brother going to enrol for his 2b next month there. hope he has a good experience and get his license fast.

 

no hard and cold rules on how many lessons he has to take.

 

for car, it's based on stamping on the booklet. if he can absorb well and learn fast, 1 lesson can get up to 3-4 chop, if not maybe 1 or 2.

 

typically around 20 +/- lessons.

I feel my circuit is okay just need to tweak abit of my blind spot and Emergency braking. Just scared i'll **** up at the U turn. Coz we cant put our right feet down =\

 

How do you folks turn in? Tried balancing but 5/10 times i do that will wobble/ prone to lean and fall inwards.

book an sp and just keep practicing ur u-turn ba..immediate failure due to right leg down quite sian..

 

u-turn must throttle more and maintain throughout, control speed using ur half-clutch and rear brake (machiam plank technique).

ensure the bike has sufficient power at all times-it will greatly reduce wobble and increase ease of handling.

once u achieve a comfortable level of control, ull be able to bring the bike down and bank confidently (fig 8 technique)

 

most of all, dun rush urself and keep calm..

as jB said, a u-turn is merely 2 right turns good luck!

i understand that the requirement is to turn into the first lane only right.

 

if turn into second lane, considered as wide turning alr

actually i still follow that part where must turn into the 1st lane one the right but definately my leg wont be on the footrest when turning.

yeah i heard from the instructor that the tail if they change would cost more so they use the old one. but still its a revo.

after you pass liao, who cares what lane you turn into? as long as you dont fall or cause inconvenience to other road users.

ya what... 2a/2 never test on u-turn what. outside on the road, as long as you survive, nothing else is more important.

 

anyway i think upon passing, most of the riders also never queue up and form up nicely for the u-turn 1, esp during jam. most will just lane split to the front, then turn from the extreme right side of lane 2.

I had the same problem with u-turn, so when it comes to TP, i purposely wide turn and go to 2nd lane, den check blind spot and filter back to 1st lane. Play with points lor. Better than immediate failure. Thas how i pass. 18 pt.
