The "falling right" part sounds like my SparkZ110 last time. :sian:

Y need to stop riding on weekdays? o_O

bigger bike are not high mileage friendly.

Imagine clocking 20,000km on a DRZ or FZ-1 a year.

The maintenance will kill.

Bigger bikes need valve clearance check ($300+++) abt. 25000km

Tires are $400+

brake pads $100+

sprocket & chain $100+

etc

etc

Yesterday was the worst day in my life.

Hit car @ 6.15 @ 20+km/h??(never fly nor drop bike). - settled for $150 (suffer sore shoulder and thighs.)

Kena Tankslapper(wobbled my entire lane) @ 9.35 along TPE. Almost lost it but managed to muscle it out.

Scary like hell. imagine high-side @ 80+km/h.(travelling @ 80-90km/h)

Kena 2nd Tankslapper(smaller) @ CTE @ 9.40, managed to muscle it out again. (travelling @ 60+km/h)

TP stop me @ CTE @ 9.45 - Ask me to remove tinted tear-off($10).

Yet to sent bike for repair...

Tankslapper highly caused by misaligned fork due to accident?

hmm...

hit pothole uh-

tankslap scary man if not strong enuf to maintain ur bike back-

1.) GMax, Unique or Funmaster. Hmmm...What Raven say is correct actually. My purpose to get the end can is just for the brapping sound only, not for track use even, kekeke. Thanks Raven for the reminder :)

2.) I never bleed the brakelines before, maybe I can try changing to steel braid.

3.) Hmm no leakage so far. I have used it for around 2 years already. I guess no problems to it, jus that sometimes when i make a turn, the back tends to wobble even without anything inside my box.

4.) Wooo its been donkey months since I service my carb and tune it. In fact, this bike has been overhauled before. Could that be a factor too?

Thanks in advance to everyone here. All your solutions given are really appreciated.

u never bleed the brakelines of coz ur brake feels like crap.... best is to overhual the whole caliper.. the feeling will be superb(assuming urs is an old bike)..

logically speaking, if ur bike is overhualed, it should perform better as everything is new... thus there should be lesser resistance which also means smoother and better milege...

anyway guys, i guess tat even with all the aftermarket mods which make the bike more powerful and nice. i think u all should remember that wave is made as a transport bike and its u shouldnt rev the tits out of the bike... its not meant to be pushed like hell....

by rite its suppose to travel like 80km/h and below to ensure a safe ride... if u just wanna go from point A to B at a relax mood, the bike can last u 20years or so.... if u wanna superb brakes and hard acceleration, u're definately looking at the wrong type of bike....

btw i'm not aiming anyone or wat, its just what i see on the road and i see how some pple ride. just sharing me thoughts.

Life is not the amount of breath u take, but the moments that take ur breath away.

It is not how hard you fall, its how fast you get up.

bike shop will take my bike in for only 2.5k... with LV and box...

I would keep the bike then. $500+ already go to the LV pipe, meaning your bike only worth $2k. :faint:

but after the accident, my forks and alignment are screwed although it's a slow speed crash.

Misalignment/bent forks = tankslap will occur more often in any condition, bike turns when braking.

imagine tankslapping in mid corner...

jialat or not, it's not mechanical as safe as before plus we are mac riders.("most" dont ride like us)

I fear of more accidents because of the misalignment.

I know I'm making a huge lost, $3000+ to be exact but it is worth hospitalization or even death?

And i nv ride any other bike before so this is my chance...

DRZ - i will probably loan/rent one as i will get bored/old...

my passion for drz will die fast and

depreciation of drz is extreme high because due to the high demand so suzuki jack the prices up.

$500 - LV

$2000 - bike

is in our view

bike shop will probably view it like this

$2800 - bike

-$100 - LV(they so called say "need to change to stock" but when selling add $1000 more)

-$200 - Racing footrest (they so called say "need to change to stock" but when selling add $100 more)

Scam imo... i will probably sell back as stock.

sell in the forum better than daylight robbery from shop. I would rather let forum ppt get the benfit than selling to bike shop.

Unless it way hell in not a riding condition.

Currently it's still in riding condition as long as it's not ridden like a motogp bike. e.g 90+++km/h or hard braking...
