thanks for the info guys. how come lumps will form in the threads?

i pump every week or so, current tyres around 16000km. after friends pointed out that tyres gonna need changing soon, dont dare to down gear at higher speed already. esp on wet road cos experienced some slipping before.

i have a noob question to ask. now im using 70/90 front, 80/90 rear. so if i change tyres and intend to use the same rims, can i change tyre size or needa stick with the same sizes? :? hahaha

front can upsize to 80/90 too. Rear remains same size.

hey bro, dun use racing footrest cos it'll be tiring for ur legs, the position is awkward and rear brake very ineffective. stock one still the best!

Posted

yup.

look "sup" no used one la...

after months of riding you will regret putting on the racing footrest.

i had a racing footrest for a few months then changed to stock.

i rode an x1 previously, till today i hated that bike.

but i love the maintenance of it, its fuel consumption, and definitely, the stock gearing system! =D

hello Dumbgeek , abt last 3+ years ago i rode honda wave , very popular cub at that time .

Ok lets get back to your topic (Racing Footrest) . Yes there is a Racing Footrest meant for wave now , but the rear drum will be ineffective , unless its disc brake. Wen i rode wave there's no Racing Footrest avail for wave on that time & i'm very keen to get one . So what i did was i used Super 4 Footrest (stock) & Loads of wave riders asked me where & what kind of racing footrest you're using , lols!. just need to mod lil bit .the position of ur legs/feet will be like using a Racing Footrest, cornering no problem . But now Racing Footrest for wave is available . across the border is cheap. Hope this help bro. cheers ! :)

Hey thanks for the info man! Actually I dont intend to use racing footrest lah. but most of my friends say its nice for cornering. Maybe i'll just try using the standard one for a while lah. then if got extra $$ then go put lor. Thanks man! :)

Guys, thanks for the comments! Hmm. I heard its quite tiring for the legs too. But nvm lah. Once i get my wave, then maybe I'll use the standard one for a while then after a few months change to rcng footrest. Just try2. LoL :)

What's this Dunlop T904 tyres for cubs? Looks like racing tyres to me as there is very little thread. And it's made in thailand.
