Anyway, my Wave-125S can go until 140KM till petrol dry out. Is this a normal mileage consumption?

not too sure if it's normal, didn't really do comparison, mine goes 48km/L. so full tank 177.6km/3.7L.

Mine is an 8 year old bike.

i think it might go by the hundred in SG. Maybe $120-$160 range?

why you wanna change fork? why not just change oil? i did that to mine and it's much better than stock now. :)

My fork on the left has chipped off.. hahah.. bit useless if if change oil since it'll leak, anyways...

hmmm' date=' correct me if i'm wrong guys.. but it takes more than just the spark plug to get the engine going.. it's your settings and condition of your piston, valves to combust the fuel/air/spark properly.. maybe it's your engine condition bro? ever tried to full service?[/quote']

Hmmm I somehow i think you are right. Got ask my friend before.. maybe that lousy eo somehow affects a little. Because of the combustion of something to piston or what. Forget what he said. But not sure too, maybe i gotta try changin new better oe and see if it's back to normal. Because before servicing that time, i usually don't have problems startin up. Just engine start and let it warm up can already.

NX' date=' i think better if you let it warm up for like 3-5mins before riding every morning as the engine is cold. Bike is more healthy that way. :)[/quote']

I think between 180 to 190 bucks? Anyway, my Wave-125S can go until 140KM till petrol dry out. Is this a normal mileage consumption?

sounds good. Norm is 40+km/L

Bro try Maxxis diamond or Shinko Evo.

Maxxis from M'sia? Shinko from where? I'd rather pay a lil more for TT900

Is spark plugs the only thing that affects your start up? After servicing until now, can say everyday i always took quite awhile to start up my bike. Last time this doesn't happen that often.. any idea why?

Everything contributes to one problem dude ;] tuning etc everything...

Yeah but before servicing.. some mornings i just have to start and let it warm up by itself.. but now every morning and going home always have to take quite awhile.. and the only difference from previous servicing was only eo.. don't think lousy eo makes a difference in it right?

as above post.

Starter motor?

153km divided by how much you pumped in = ??km/L :thumb:

Usually don't need to unless you find anything drastically wrong like bad FC etc ;)

How does a CDI affects a bike? Heard some Spark riders change their CDI to aftermarket ones so their bike will be more powerful. Anyone know whether there is an aftermarket CDI appliable for Honda Wave? Will there be any difference on the fuel comsumption? I have no plans to bore the engine block if this were to be another alternative...

153km divide by the litres you pump in?

The whole procedure is like this..

1. Pump full tank. As much as possible up to brim. Take down your mileage. Eg: 12,000km

2. Ride until petrol about to finish.

3. Pump petrol again (As much as possible up to brim). Take down your mileage. Eg: 12,300km. Then see how many litres of petrol u pump in(its @ the price u have to pay or at the receipt)

Now, u travel 300km already. And lets say the receipt show u pump 3 litres. So ur FC is 300km/3litres = 100km/litre. Voila! But wave not 100km/litre lah. If ur wave 100km/litre please tell me I buy straight away $10,000 also I buy.
