Anyway, other than EO and spark plug, what kind of maintenance should be done on a wave? Chain oiling? Brake fluid top up?

for me, I m still the ah pek look. the chain metal protector is still there and I spray only once or twice a month. plug I one year change once n engine oil change every 1.5k-2k using fully syn oil.

Can't be more ahpek than me. I have a rear box and front basket. The protruding out kind lol! Damm useful for dabao runs.

hahaha, my rear box is the 46L one.a center basket very good for me on weekends at market. wave is generally a very good transport n best in fuel consumption a pity I need to pump every 2 days....

hey all... anyone of you guys ever fix the fuel indicator for wave S..? mine cant be seen because of the film inside... anyone has a solution..?

 

change new meter.cannot new reset.

I have a 52l maxIa and e21 pannIers and center basket.

 

 

 

 

 

hahaha, my rear box is the 46L one.a center basket very good for me on weekends at market. wave is generally a very good transport n best in fuel consumption a pity I need to pump every 2 days....

hi, anybody know how much to change the pump kit for honda wave? the 1 on the right to top up the dot4 oil one.

 

was quoted $50 for the pump kit and $75 to change the whole thing. thanks..

Hi everyone, I just bought a Honda Wave like today, I don't even know what model it is, anyone knows what NF125MD is? Its the model for the bike but the only ones i see mentioned are Wave-S or Wave-R .. Anyone can help?

 

I would also wanna know about the difference between the stock exhaust and putting up the Leovince scoot for Wave, I bought the bike together with the Leovince Scoot but I havent fixed it yet, its still in a box sitting there for awhile, I thought I'd try stock for awhile, then fix the full exhaust system and see if there is a big change, your comments are welcome about this part.

 

I would also like to find out where is the most ideal place to change my exhaust, any reccomendation for workshops or cheap workmanship prices? your advise vry much welcomed.

 

I will be posting pictures and other questions as they arise!

 

Anyone, please feel free to post your pictures of your modded waves as this is kinda like a project transport for me, I have my own car and will seldom ride, but I feel like I want to do something to the bike so i'm trying to get some ideas, some of you may showcase your awesome projects here too!

 

All advise, comments and sharing greatly appreciated! :D

Planet@ubi. Overhauled mine before national day. 2nd hand Block+piston+piston ring+con rod+bearings. $500 flat.

Mine 2 days. I sent in when got loud clocking sound. Not necessary to change. My block bore quite big already so need to change.. Coincident got 2nd hand he change for me.

i overhauled my wave at Planet back in 2009, coz piston jam, engine oil finished without me knowing.

rebore engine block, new piston, new piston ring, conrod plus bearings, engine oil and labour, not more than S$350.

 

Not sure. Most of the items there are local made ones.

 

Local made rear suspensions' quality can be trusted?

Worth to purchase?
