hi all,

just want to check on few things since i am a newbie on my 2nd hand wave.

- i understand that with wave u save a lot of petrol.

i filled mine 1 week ago at esso 2.85L and it last me for 110km.

i ride with my wife and our total weight is around 120+.

is my wave FC consider normal? my speed just around 60-80km/h.

Now i am trying by using shell, i just pumped and will monitor.

- i found that air pumping for motorbike is quite amusing.

i tried to pump that time at esso and not sure how to use it.

just now i pumped at shell also find it quite hard to measure the pressure.

btw, i read ppl say front is 28psi, behind is 30psi... is this standard pressure?

any petrol station that we can really measure the pressure?

or at least got help from the petrol staff?

- i got my bike from the shop around 3 weeks ago.

do u guys think i should quickly change the EO?

i checked and it still have enough.

thanks all in advance for ur reply :)

1 packet per day is quite normal.(plus some friend sure "borrow")

like MUSHA said 2 packet per day is more fierce.

In NS, i have a bunk mate that smokes 2-3 packets per day plus the "roll-yourself" type. Every 15-20 minutes, see him walk off to smoke.

Sure he is a chimney! :p

Big is certainly a warning but small can be downright scary! Never underestimate the effectiveness of small.

Anyone here tried install/using Hella Supertone?

I trying to installing but have problem finding space to squeeze one of the two horn in.

I tried the horn once, scaried the hell out of me.

Mine is the Hella Black and Flat type, don't know exactly what model but my mech hidden them away very well.

Loud but seems like the battery can't support a long blast...

anyone want the other hella supertone at $20 ?

The horns are supposed to work together as a pair. One gives high pitch, the other gives low pitch. If you are selling the low pitch, i guess it will be quite useless leh...

Sounds like my FC - normal lah. I m on ESSO. Of coz, weight plays a big part.

Bring back to the bike for oil change and ask them to check tyre pressure at the same time for a peace of mind.

I always believe that these horns got to work in a pair to have the "blasting" effect.... :cheeky:

Thanks Guy,

Normally the 3rd gear reach 60km/h the motor start to vibrate and the speed does not increase a lot ( a bit only 62km/h), after change to 4th gear than it start increase speed to 80km/h.

Anyway, i will change the cluth first. update you guy once change.

I changed the clutch dics and whole set of auto cluth, it cost me S$360.00. Very pain. The motor now is powerfull and 3rd gear can reach 80km/h with no problem. next problem is the soft absorber, uneven rims and tebok exhaust pipe, all this make the bike vibrate a lot at high rpm. Any 2nd hand to offer?

Hmmm.... that's a sum of $$$ to change clutch. But my Wave also can do 3rd gear at 80kmh but after that it's 110kmh on 4th flat out. So sounds like my Wave is ok leh... :cheeky:
