The meaning of the number codes for reference.

I advise you to use candles NGK. They are very good and it is the most common. There are all sorts of models that can be used on both engines compet as engines of origin.

But that utiser for your engine? B8HS, B8EV, B10EGV ...

Let me explain the meaning of the names of NGK candles is a code. There are 4 parts.

It ignites the gas directly. It consists of a center electrode, drowned on the major part in a insulating material which has the appearance of porcelain.

At the upper end of the electrode is a central pillar Point threaded which allows contact with the spark plug wire. The cap of the candle is embedded in the insulation and provides support for the candle in the breech.

The seal is made by a joint metal.

At its end is a second electrode grounded, which departed from the central edge of a few tenths of mm. The spark will happen between those two points.

It defines the names of candle by "hot" or "cold":

A hot candle rapidly absorbs heat and retains as long as the engine is running. Its operating temperature is relatively high. It provides easy departure. It is not recommended for the engine turning at high speed and at high speeds.

A cold candle wicks heat quickly and avoids self-ignition. Its main drawback is that it quickly increase small sailing. It is therefore recommended for high performance engines.

In competition, for example, we can use a hot candle to mount the engine temperature and a candle cold for the race.

This company in Jap does big bore conversion for small cc scoots...basically in a simple way is they put a maxi scoot engine in to small CC scoot. Sounds simple but not as easy as it says lah

They Definitely work their ass-out to achieve that.. haha'

if can i wanna strip all but the time does not permit me to do... alot of things happen there. i Quickly open my transmission and do some set ups to catch up before the race started. Actually we as in the sprinters lost our way there and that is why we lost alot of time. hahahh'

A short race video on the 50cc Macau Scootercup.

These 50cc race scoots can do around 140km/h top speed averaging around 100km/h during a whole lap.

Fastest lap on the 50cc scoot is 1min slower than the fastest race base superbike in the Macau motorcycle grandprix in an over 3.2km track

These 50cc can really perform man n the riders were indeed gd :thumb:

Does SKF have hi-speed bearings? Would luvit if they have especially on all related bearings especially on transmission area. Which is better? Heavy duty quality bearings or SKF or other hi-grade branded bearings?

SKF is a very gd choice for making bearings...they had many products to choose from thus to find something suitable we will hav to know the actual sizings of our orginal and find within the SKF product range.

High speed bearings r usually meant to be use for crankshaft bearings..tranmission bearings dun really require it..a regular change of neccessary bearings will be useful enough

A question to ask..

Which turns the fastest??

Smaller diameter wheel or Larger diameter ones?

Share your knowledge or best give opinion.

Base on the same setting for both different wheel base scooters(+ rider weight) the small will lead from starting grip to mid-range when somehow the bigger wheel base will lead by half to a scooter length in the finishing.......for 1km length........without speed camera of course

glad to see that there's actually drag enthusiasts. Im interested in powerful bikes but im more to the 'cornering around bends' guy rather than a 'drag to the finish line' guy hahah.

Still, good going guys! Good luck on your project cause i'll still be checking this thread for updates hahah. Cheers!
