Hey Ah Fai!

Good to know that you're alright man. The key thing here is bike damages can be fixed, if the person damaged, spare parts not so easy to find! :cheeky:

Where did you go to get your parts? Auto Cycle? You might want to try Chong Aik as well. They seem to have parts on hand....

No Bro~ the road is not wet, cause enter the bend too fast too furious, not paying attention & not preparing to enter the bend in proper way.

Yeah man definately heart pain but lucky the damage is not that great on my MT, should get the parts done up in 3-4 weeks time. And the proper riding gear safe me a big day.

yo..... wishing u speedy recovery

Yeah man thank God no serious injury, I ordered the parts at Hong Leong~ my friend did recommend me to Auto cycle as well, but lazy to hop here & there~ might as well get it done when my next service arrives in a months time

Hey Alex,

Glad to hear that there's another MT on the road!!

There are 2 shops that I can think of (other than HL), Auto Cycle on Serangoon Rd and Chong Aik. Both carry Yamaha parts without the inflated prices.

You should be able to get the MT Performance bar risers plus the tapered bar from them (might not be stocked there, but can order)

http://mt-world.yme.com/emc.asp?m=1&pageId=2134

The page carries the required Yamaha part numbers on it.

About the HID, havn't seen anyone with an installation. For the bulb size, not sure if this helps.

Headlight 12V, 55W ×4

Auxiliary light 12V, W5W ×2

You should be able to order the Akras from Chong Aik or Auto Cycle as well. Those are distributed by Yamaha part dealers only.

Hope to have helped (even abit).

Good morning MT Bros how you guys doing, last week I just had my first experience of jerking when the RPM hits around 2300rpm, but my MT was not installed with PCIII, the only modification I did was replacement of slip-on exhaust which was many months ago.

Sent to the Yamaha workshop & replace the spark plugs (the mech recommended that most probably its the faulty spark plugs), but the problem still persists when hitting around 2300rpm, and even worst it stall when riding on highway, so now send my bike in to the same workshop again. Hope they can find out whats the problem...

Wow... Hope everything goes alright the the repairs. Please let us know what was wrong as well.

Might be something wrong with the fueling map on the ECU maybe? Not too sure if its mechanical.

Probably need to meet up with you one of these days as well, because i also notive some jerking around the same RPM on mine. I haven't had any stalling problems yet though.... (touch wood)...

Nice! Staintune pipes. I read alot about them,. 5% HP increase....2kg weight loss. Not bad man. Tell me how it goes!

Good evening MT Bros~ I got my MT back on this afternoon, the mech able to remedy the issue, in the end its one of the faulty terminal connector which connects between the starter & battery.. never had thought such a small device can do such a big damage~ :faint:

and also replace my front brake pad kit, IMO super expensive S$204 for a pair~ :slapforehead: but for safety is priceless, so cannot say so much also

Yes Bro Justin me read that too from internet~ me just fitted them, sound more juicy than GPR but think still lose to yours, haha... the end-cone shape fit very well with the exhuast cover, just like the original ones~

Later me going to ride one round to see how is the outcome, and take some pictures to show you guys the how the exhaust looks like in near future~ :o

Wah bro... Still no "on the road" report from you leh... Tell us how it went...

Additionally, was it the rectifier that failed on your bike?

No retiflier is not an issue~ anyway so far no problem~

Ok report from my pair of new exhaust, more grunt when neutral, but when open throttle, still GPR give more noise.. but compare to bassy the staintune rules, more grunt & bassy noise~ no regrets~

planning to have PCIII but Yamaha say it will not be nessecery~ will see how things go
