No retiflier is not an issue~ anyway so far no problem~

 

Ok report from my pair of new exhaust, more grunt when neutral, but when open throttle, still GPR give more noise.. but compare to bassy the staintune rules, more grunt & bassy noise~ no regrets~

 

planning to have PCIII but Yamaha say it will not be nessecery~ will see how things go

 

Good good to know that your pipes worked out as you wanted! The noise levels should be solid and loud when the throttle is wide opened! But I guess to each his own...

 

How is your clutch holding up? I think mine is starting to fade. Dunno laa. I had a clutch slip a few weeks back, but lets see laa.

 

Would you guys need the MT-01 service manual? Or also the MT-01 parts catalogue? I have them, please let me know if you need those.

Yeah lor...thinking of going for a clutch plate replacement. Maybe thinking about the stage 3 clutch upgrade. Dunno how much that would cost. Better bite on that clutch.

 

Any idea how much? Could you check from HL is you get a chance?

Hi pistolwhip it will be difficult to have a used MT-01 for sale in shop~ since there are so few of them... anyway will look out for you if happen to see one, cheers :p

Hey pistolwhip,

 

Nice to know we have another MT fan in our midst.

 

I guess any bike shop that handles loans can get it done for your. A recommendation would be to head to Excel (or maybe to your own bike shop) and get them to work out the logistics for you.

 

It's just a matter of money going thru different hands and the more hands you get involved, the more expensive it is for you...

just found out from dealer, machine price is $19,996.50. with coe, i reckon its gona be around $21k+.

saw 2 before on the road. mean and ugly.But it's the way for muscle bike category.but i love the way it looked.was impressed by the thunderous exhaust notes.Once i saw it at a traffic junction next to a CBR1000rr.Believe me, it had steal all the attention of motorist from the sport bike......rendered it almost' invisible' on road.

or go to z1000 thread, got one unit for sale there

new b-king both looi's and excel have one unit each

super duke, sorry cant help u in tat dept.

new MT-01, ask excel to offer.

second hand MT-01, in this thread MT-Kenglya seems to be letting his unit go.

Nice bikes. I like them ALL.

 

Had a 1st gen z1ooo last time.

1 2 &3 gear all can power wheelie. just whack man... no need to drop clutch and jerk the bars. Very fantastic looking bike. And easy to mod the engine. ecu bypass, throotle flies, air box, what la.. all can find online. Prettiest bike i've owned bar nothing. Real street fighter. Ride that bike feel like hero man. Kawa, orange, noisy, rare, fast. wahh....

 

but suspension soft. so bought a ton of money worth of suspension and brakes, (as pictured in signature) then discoverd the weak chassis. twin overhead tubes only. And nowadays they say the 2nd gen z1ooo iss worse than the 1st gen?? ...o_O I don know laa.. to each his own.

 

Sold the z and got back on a CBR. Happy. Back and balls pain. Sold the cbr. so X11. Now looking around again.

 

haven't tried the rest. but nosing around this thread should show the bias.:cool:
