Thanks for the reply bro. The thing is, after I have started the engine, the FI indicator wasn't lit up. till about a few seconds later, it lit up whilst the engine is running. Even when I move off, the FI indicator is still activated. So i dunnoe if this is normal or not. If its not, I have to send to bikeshop for a check up liao.

 

Another thing is, this thing happens once a while.. This morning after I start the engine, the FI indicator did not light up anymore.. JUst yesterday when I go malacca and back to sg then the thing happened..

My previous F4i FI lights stays on all the time. Sent in for checks n services, the mech conclude that it juz some config problem. No big deal, it still can carry out the basic ops from Pt A to Pt B. No worries.

Yeah man.. my fren who rides a busa told me that too. The FI will light up upon switching on the power. BUt after a while, it will disappear and by right, it shouldn't light up after I start the engine.

 

I just got my F4i on saturday and am very excited to learn more abt the bike.. Appreciate any help or advises..

 

I will be bringing my bike to the shop to check out the FI problem. Are there any outings for this thread?

The FI light should not light up unless upon switching on the bike . After tat , the light will go away . Muz be some problem wif the FI component . I think the manual should say something abt it .

andrew.. cannot lah, i felt the power of BT014 liao.. last week when it was raining, i fell down in my base after going down the basement carpark in my base because no grip in my tyres den when turning i spin 180 degrees.. =.=" engine cover cracked and all my engine oil leaked out.. zzz lucky repair not very expensive. so i will change my tyres before i go down track if not sure feel the power of bridgestone again. haha..

u can try pilot power so far i use it ok.

BT014 almost killed mi couple of times... but i see alot of Super 4 Vtec owner like to use 014. Maybe it look "BIG". U might want to try sellin it at garage sales since yours is so new Won't make any diff to a S4....only 56 horse.

and how they work? once on i just turn the triangular thing to adjust spring pre-load?
