Tealeaf used to put a top box on his touring f4i .

 

One can squeeze a raincoat & cover under the pillion seat of the sports model if he knows how to squeeze .

touring.... F4i Tour,Fazer600

 

street smart.... Sf400 vtec,F4i sport

 

*above is meant for 600cc grp nia.

 

then...it also depends on whether u want buggering BHP figure like Zx636 or big-bro/small-bro image like R6 or RR....or plain fun with throttle like Gixxer.

 

cos end of the day...it YOU would need to service the installment,petrol,rdtax/insurance & not your friends.

Waiting for the deposite this week. The previous 2 interested party could not get thur the loan due to some paper workz issue. Hopefully conclusion can be drawn by end of this month

During school days also shop say this good that great until a FL-plate GSXRR can fly. Less than 2week, front fork leaking, scratchy brack disc best of all the screw thred of the spark plug gone! Sometime can spark sometime cannot, like riding a crazy horse! And the rear suspension is like the new Osim product!...hmm..who is young n foolish...hahaha..believe everyone here get to pay their school fees here n there, that experiences is what we are made of today! Anyway the ride lasted exactly 27days before it was exported to Thailand for the next "Lucky" owner...and another six mths for mi to save up for the next donkey again!

consider u has a Gixxer that can fly...my Gixxer(brand new P model) dun even last for 3week when the valve train start to make funny noise.of course it claim under warranty but....well...it does not have a good start even when new.....long term? never see it till 6mth & sold it away.damn.....money back then aint easy to earn somemore.

Can fully understand ya sentiment! No offence to current Gixxer player here, probaly they had made it more reliable by now. Just that it striked mi at my worse finiance stage...was a school boy with water bottle then.

 

Although i bought cash that time but thinking of forking out extra $$ for bus n mrt wasn't too exciting for mi. Total damage was abt 2K in 27days...that money i could have booked a taxi to school, every day for a year! No more Suzuki for mi...till the rest of my life! Rather skip the step of buying a Gix and take taxi! Stated entirely on personal fear, ignorance and bad experiences. Could be an isolated case, peace

current Gixxer shd be much better then in the 90s.i believe.

 

even during that stage...i also think it just a one-off case.....till i trade-in for a bandit.the banit serve me better till the funny engine sound again.

 

so it enough for personal reason liao.

 

the current Gixxer600/750/1k have nice styling,raw power...but just that those funny engine sounds always make my skin tickle...thats good enough reason for myself NOT to get another one.

 

i rather settle for something which dun hunt me after i paid for it.

I love the way they the make the tail piece on the K5 until i saw Speedpass R1, best

 

Did fell in love with the old 400 P-model and i agreed Suzuki does makes classy looking and powerful machine now. Juz that when luck fall on the wrong side, it can certain put one's cashflow into a full negative swing! Can't risk that especially with a family now...hahaha...

Serious ah bro? Looks like few people i known of kena trapped in similar situation.

 

Especially when u make a down payment + insurance + transfer, etc. Low on cash liao then u realise u need to burn more cash to keep it moving. Wow man, certainly saddening loh. No matter how broke one is, he will never wanna sell WITHIN a month, knowing the lost he is going to bear! Was once in that situation, there is only one option left, sell.

 

In general physics, amount of energy input equal to amount of energy output. Excessive energy output will result is excessive heat being built up in the engine parts, esp the gasket. Heat accumulated without proper dissipation outlet, break down the gasket over time. Rate of decomposition of the parts depends on one's usuage.

 

As far as i know, the maintain cost of the vehicle is "pass on" to the next owner. I m one idiot whom had paid for another idiot usuage

 

It is a trend as some bro had mentioned! In time to come u will see flashy new paintwork from Gix, posting for sales...and believe mi, u. They comes in batches!

Short shelves life. And you may wonder...why so new and it is selling so cheap...and the process repeats itself!
