Touring also can, but organise a track session is easier than tour.

For Track session as long as 2 to 3 bikes will do, even 1 bike also can. And normally a track session only last about 4 to 5 hours(1 hr track session+ 1hr journey to track + 2 hrs TCSS).

As for tour at least need 1 day, and the more participant the merrier. For me 1 day is a bit rush, even 1 day tour to Desaru I would say no fun. Tour is for R&R I would say 4 days 3 nights is the best, 2 to 3 destination will do (estimated milege 600 km).

The above is my personal opinion between track session and tour.

yo bro... a lot of F4i riders in the US actually go for pickup power too... and the most recommended size by them is -1 (front) and +2 (rear) ... stock sizes is 16/46..... they even did a chain conversion from 525 to 520... can pop up the front anytime.... one of the guys did did to his chain and sprocket.... he claims he can still hit 158mph (253km/h) for his top... i jus changed my sprockets and chain a few days ago from 16/45 to 16/44 and went to NSH right after that in the night... i never seen my rev limiter light on before no matter how hard i force it in 4th gear... but its the first time my bike is pulling me back and the rev limiter light on without me noticing it.... i am still wondering wats going on and issit good or bad...

Who can explain this ??

Note: Believe liquid nitrogen was used in the process to acheive the result. Forcing the all molecular in the element to face a single direction eg North, South in a below freezing point temperature.

If only our piston can work with this basic, up/down strokes. Just the use of liq nitrogen without fuel and runs cooler...the cons is that we will need to keep the engine in the fridge after use :cheeky:

My opinion for the shift light:

This is another indicator to tell you that you are at the max allowable engine speed. Actually at our tacho meter you also find that at 14 K rpm onwards is in red, this serve the same purpose as the shift light.

Our F4i peak torque is around 10.5 K rpm to 12.5 K rpm, If you looking for max torque of every gear, I would said you should shift gears upwards around 13/14 Krpm. Normally we will try to shift gear upwards at around 13/14 krpm is bcos we want the gear start working for us in the power band.

My experience, occasionally I will over rev my bike at track I found that after the shift light lid up you actually still can pull some more until the needle reach 15K rpm, that is the point where the bike's rev cut setting is( not sure whether correct or not). The rpm will drop untill 13K rpm eventhough you open throttle.

With proper maintenance of the F4i engine, I would said shifting gear upwards at 13/14Krpm is Ok (shift light lid up), and there are rev cut at 15Krpm. Only thing that you need to check regularly is the sprocket, chain, tyres, becos under hard accel all these part will worn up very very fast.$$$$$$$$:weep:

Take yr time... fyi, i only visit track after my 14 yrs of riding... i've been touring for abt 6yrs.. :help:

Track u go round & round....

U famiiarise the circuit.. then u want to shorten the timing... = danger

Touring u go one big round....

U may be first time burning yr tyre on that road.. u think is clear, u think " i just try one time top speed lah".. or u think if yr bike break down, can call tow truck lah... tink x 2

These 2 stupid "T" r not that simple...:thumb:

Stay at home safest .

Sell me yr R1 lah...:cheer:
