  1. Yeah, a forum where some never been there, boasted that.
  2. Sometimes being tailgated on the extreme right lane also means you are road hogging. The 1st lane is meant for overtaking and emergency vehicle if you remember your theory. If you think you've already exceeded your speed limit, keep left. There are other road users who might be comfortable in travelling at an even higher speed than you.
  3. Riding slow doesn't mean safe and riding fast doesn't mean dangerous. It really depends on road and traffic conditions. What's dangerous is using the wrong bike for the wrong speed at the wrong places.
  4. He won't, cos he haven't been out of the well.
  5. Lanespliting at 240km/h is not common but i believe most sportbikers do that on the NSHW. It's achievable. If only you have been out of S'pore.
  6. It's the same question as why you need ride a bike when there are public transport available
  7. If you dare not lane split or slow, just stay clear of lane 1.5!

  11. No doubt that heat gun is ideal but it takes a professional to do it well. Inappropriate usage might melt your own plastic as the temperature is so much higher. For novice, it's advisable to use a hairdryer.
  12. One obvious difference you can spot is the tail section. Spec II onwards comes with HISS (Honda Ignition Security System) Spec I comes with the signature noisy chain sound while riding...

  14. From the vague description, my guess should be the Ducati S2R Monster
  15. scooter model?
  16. Sportster with a 125Z screen, that's unique customisation. Get one with double bubble. works better.
  17. Don't all throttle suppose to spring back to original position? That's a nice X8 disar:thumb:
  18. SAF Gortex boots. Cashless alternative if you have the credit
  19. They will offer to tow to their workshop But everything can be settled with some 'kopi-money'. Once I got a flat tire and they load my bike up on their pickup. They don't have anything to secure the bike, so I got to hold on to my bike while being transported to Gelang Patah Esso. That's the furthest they will go. From there, just need to find ways to get back to S'pore side. (Pushing, bike-towing, reinforcement from bikers kakis, whatever method...) Once back, towing shouldn't be a prob. Total towing fee: kopi$=RM10 and Local towing=$20 Wouldn't recommend this method, unless you are really hard-up on cash.
  20. Note that most vintage vespa here is easily more than 25 yrs old. Yet they are still running fine.
  21. Based on stock condition, the Nexus will beat the T-max on the acceleration, but eventually Nexus Tops at 176km/h while the T-max 182km/h. But in terms of rider comfort, T-max is well sheltered from the wind blast, hence the Nexus will absorb all the wind in the rider's face. So what's your defination of 'better', u decide...
  22. My personal preference is to stay in Kowloon area. As budget is an issue, $150 range, I suggest BP international (3mins walk fr Jordan MTR) $100 range, I suggest Sing Ho hotel (Great location, stone-throw away from Mongkok shopping district) $100 and below [not recommended for single ladies, couple still fine] (Hotels with hourly rates, daily rates available. Sleazy but still clean and safe. Best of all, its much spacious than any hotel within this budget. Along Temple St or Mongkok) If your preference is to stay in Hong Kong Island, be prepared to pay slightly more...
