Any1 recently bought Spark? Interested to knoe the market price...

 

Btw, i have some other qus for Spark riders...

1) Fuel comsumption?

2) Insurance? For 23yrs old

hi recently i jus brought my friend to buy a agent bike cost him $4.8K due to the increament on the Si Hor Yi(coe)

 

called bp to check as well he saying 3.7K OTR see how much u need to top up for ur insurance. got 1 kaki of ours he jus now told me kena tok... everything add up $4.2K to get it on the road exclude IU... and its a parrallel import bike... not really worth it

but i think there are a couple of guys who had got good price and no need to wait so long like bubu or u can get from the BHH authorize for alliancez insurance they are giving pretty acceptable price as well

 

anyway did u join us jus now?

eh limited edition black is slightly dirty green in colour.. which is the one i bought correct me if im not right. its a matt paintwork. my insurance is 800+ for a 20 yr old bike price is 4.7k for LE version

anyway for the consumption wise

for a stock maintaining bout say 80km-90km can fetch u bout 50km / L

for like me occasionally ride 120km will fetch bout 40-42km / L

if u mod the carb change jet change cdi will b bout 30-35km / L

dats for travelling average of 110km

average travelling with the above mod can go to bout 150km till u pass red zone

there muz be something wrong with my bike then..

 

my full tank can last me only ard 150 km. which means ard 35km/l only ley..

 

watz wrong with my 135?! i have been cursing my bike bcoz of the FC..

 

seriously, ALL the parts are stock parts. changed nothing at all internally.

 

 

normal travelling speed abt 90km/h - 100km/h.

VERY RARELY go beyond 120km/h.

ya as long its not a agent bike u cant get the allianz insurance which is 330 for age below 25 more than 1 yr experience

while mitsui and ntuc quoted me 600++ for my sparks 3rd party insurance with fire and theft. but dat was for me think bout 2 -3 mths ago? not very sure wats the rate today as well...

ah long: the tyres got jap and thai

jap of cos more ex $130 a pair in sg while thai cheaper $90 in sg cant remember how much in malaysia

road tax if im not wrong should be $30 haha my road tax at home never even open up

sprocket cheap wan cost $35-45 depending on where u fix

expensive like DID cost bout 100++ for the chain alone but i would say not really worth while...

every 1000 u change wa like dat very ex lo... 3000 is the so called limit for ppl who use semi and ride the bike very freq wan... but if u think u every 1000 wan to change oso can ah its all up to individual ma... but i tihnk there is no need for dat la... every 3000 i change i feel its pretty alright for me.

i think can guage de.... maybe when u go and change it after 1500km, see the condition of the EO~ if it's full of "rubbish" then will be wise to change it at every 1000km or so, if not then next time change at 2000km and see how's the EO...

 

coz some bikes like to "eat" EO.... and need to top up regulary, some people ride for leisure.... dun have to change it so often~

No lah bro, our tank 4Litre full. Normally i ride 150km, i can pump in 3 litre of petrol.

 

Which means 150km = 3 litre of petrol lorz...

 

Calculate this way man~

My FC oso about the same.50km/l with occasional wacking till 120km/h. Just now wanted to try top speed(to test Bambino's CDI) BUT at 140km/h the bike was already swaying left and right.So didn't dare to go any faster.

 

Bro Bambino,my 2 front screws in between the signal lights donno dropped or kena stolen.Discovered only yesterday night.Had to replace with LAB's anodised screws.Looks even nicer now.

 

Guys,any good brake pads to recommend?Cos i can see that my stock ones got like "peelings" or dust whatever u call it at the sides of the brake pads.Any oso they screech when i brake too hard.

the round mirror is $15 or so, any shop can get, ah boy oso can.
