just checking.. so far in touring trip, got people wear full riding suit such as track suit? ie not the touring suit.

 

Yes I have friends who head up north in full leathers. However the kind of riding they do is not what you are going to witness with this group.

 

Then again... There is no such thing as TOO MUCH protection. If you're comfortable in your full leathers, by all means go ahead. Don't forget to bring along your LAB rain coat (or something similar)...

as i do not have any touring suit, and have sold my touring jacket, i was wondering to wear full leather. just felt that it may be weird and funny though it may give me the protection and warmth that i need. however, like what you have mentioned, no such thing as too much protection.

got your tyre repair kit ready?

 

i tried the 12v air compressor on my bicycle.

from flat to 40PSI, around 1min only. good stuff !

 

but hope we don't have to use it during the trip though.

hand pump and also a 12v mini air compressor pump.

some spare fuses.

small can of chainwax. (no money for scott-oiler. )

 

guess that's about it.
