Help! I just went through ERP gantry without IU. After searching the forum, I found out that the fine is $70!?!? Just to double confirm, is that true?

And, how long do I have to wait for the fines letter to come? Or, is there any other way for me to check instantly whether I got tio $70 or not?

Dont worry. If i dont remember wrongly, the fine is 10 bucks.

 

And if you pay by SAM, got discount somemore.

 

Anyway the letter will take about one week.

 

Alternatively you can go to any SAM, if got fine, it will show up. But best is to wait for letter.

Confirm not $70? I thought if passing through ERP gantry without IU installed will be $70 fine. Any opinion?

if u get letter and forget to pay then 70 bucks. if not its 8 dollars using the auto machines. check at lta . gov

if your bike registed with iu, but didn't bring iu out go past erp, letter will come asking you go for inspection as the erp couldn't detect your iu unit

 

if your bike is not registered with iu, go past erp, i think is $70

sorry bro, i thought you said you forgot to put cashcard.

 

If you have no IU unit on your bike, if 1st time then can appeal.

 

If 2nd time then have to pay up liao.

 

Time to look for a 2nd hand IU unit. Try asking around. No point getting a new one.

wah sian last nite tio erp without iu unit on my bike.... the iu unit is registered tho.

hi guys, if i got a second hand IU from a fren, do i need to go register at vicom??? the IU serial??? my bike is registered wif an IU i tink.. it broke off before i got the bike... so how do i do abt it??? =D
